this backing track reminds me of a blues progression Marty Friedman used in a video... It has all sorts of cool extra chords in it like diminished and augmented

Lovely tone, and some nice playing - I have a Les Paul & VC30-210. (yours sounds as if its the 1x12 or 2x12) What were your amp settings?

Also, just wondered if those are the stock TAD valves or whether you've changed them?

Hi thanks! The settings on this one were middle and bass 4 , treble 5.5 Drive arround 5 and volumen 3 .

I just replace valves with sovteks! Cheap and lovely tone!

Nice tone, am thinking of getting this, or the fender blues junior, how loud does this go roughly, like gig size?

Blues Jr. is a 15 watt this laney is 30 watts , you can play a gig with laney amp without any problems . I think fender blues JR is for rehearsals or home practice. Laney Class A made in England: British sound ... Both amps are great but for gigs i do prefer this VC30 than fender Blues Jr. Thanks for watching!
