@OPSDK I've been looking for it too, and I've finally found it. Someone on Xfire used it as bg music for a devil may cry gameplay video. It was my favorite piece on fairuzons' channel. Just google the phrase "Used "The Life Giver" made by fairuzonss" and it is the first link that appears. If someone can tell me who really made the piece (assuming it wasn't fairuzons), I would be forever grateful :)

Here is a paraphrased version of events:

1. Fairuzon uploads Japanese remixes as his own on various sites, including Newgrounds.

2. Newgrounds mod gets suspicious of Fairuzon because of how quickly he is uploading songs, the drastic difference in quality between the songs, and the mod feels Fairuzons' story doesn't add up.

3. Mod goes to OCREMIX to see if the guys over there can confirm or deny his suspicions, they found that he had stolen work.

4. The proper consequences ensue.

@Satarack Being one of Fairuzons' close friends, I have reason to believe that he didn't steal them per se, or at least that wasn't his intent. Fairuzons pays close attention to a lot of Japanese artists and most of the time, these artists and their works go unnoticed in North America. He likes to share their songs with everyone else, but he does so by uploading to his channel/profile which results in copyright issues.

@kenodango It would be nice if that were the case, but there's a simple solution: Give credit to the original creator. See, even if a publisher were to try and remove the music, you could argue against it on the grounds of Fair Use of copyright. But by not giving credit for work that is not your own, even if you don't claim it to be your own work, is a form of plagiarism.

@Satarack I agree, but the intention to steal was never there. It has never been there. Of course it's still plagiarism because he didn't give credit, I believe he never once explicitly stated that they were his own works. Like I said, I'm his friend so I know how... forgetful he can be with these things so I just wanted to clear up that while yeah he didn't give credit, he was never trying to steal in the first place as most people were making it out to be.

@pivotzeke10 BULLSHIT. I have a shitton of unreleased arrangements and tracks he made, some personally for me, and I have known him since he was XaldinKHVids on youtube. He never stole music then, and gave credit for samples. Hell, he is a music student, why would he need to steal it? I've got tracks made by him while he was drunk, scratched music for games him or his friends were making and more. He fucking taught me how to make my own compositions using some of the software he had at the time.

If you want to see his website, just google "warinside blankfield" and click the first link and then click on music at the top. You'll also see the familiar "Boss Battle in Area VI" which Fairuzons also stole.

Him uploading it on his newgrounds account back then is true, but like I said in another post, I'm pretty sure he didn't have any intentions on actually claiming it was his. Rather he just wanted to share it. Hell, he even recognized it was warinside's remix for the most part anyway.
