if they dont pls tell me cuz my shop maidenaqautics said i shouldn't get them or my guppies will die from stress but tiger barbs are my fave fish what shall i do!!!!!
@amthebadman well you can't always trust the tiger barbs with the guppies. in my case, I kept a bunch of them together and they just kind of hang around each other.
i kept barbs and guppies in the same aquarium and the barbs ended up killing the guppies caz they kept nipping their fins?? so would it be safe to put barbs with mollies and fancy guppies?? have you ever had any probs so far??
i really like your fish and fish tank but i think you should take those guppies out. I had barbs and guppies and the barb ended up nipping there tails and then they died. Barbs are not communitty fish they are semi - aggresive.
well I have a large tank with well planted covers. so they don't bother each other that much. beside I have four of the tiger barbs. they like play with each other when they are in group.
Nice tank and choice of fish Balloon Mollies and platys are my fav mines are alittle chubby as well they get to nibble on the shrimp that I feed my turtle and its funny when its feeding time they act like that have never eaten before
well their daily diret are algae wafers and some good quality flakes. every couple of days I treat them with blood worms and brine shrimps. I try not to over feed them with high protein foods.
well its a 10 gallons tank. I have 4 of them and they just busy chasing each others. you shouldn't have more than 5 or they start bullying smaller fishes. so far everyone live peacefully.

the best way is to put the guppies with neon tetras and tiger barbs with the mollies
