A few pointers; One, Skyward Sword came BEFORE Ocarina of Time. It shows how the Master Sword came to be. Plus, it's be said by the makers. Ganon did not have the triforce of power in the beginning of Ocarina of Time. That is why he did not come into power until after the seven years. That is why he called Link a fool for opening the door of time and allowing Ganon to touch what was left of the Triforce..

These stones must be collected to unlock the Master Sword to defeat Ganon, who is corrupting the kingdom. Travel to an alternate world (Dark World or Future) and rescue the Sages/Maidens from each temple. Zelda is the final Sage/Maiden. Use the Light Arrows and Master Sword to defeat Ganon.
If he's given up, why not make the original source files public. Maybe someone else would want to continue building it from there. You might even get a demo with the first dungeon available.

Considering Ocarina of Time REALLY takes use of 3D, it's practically impossible to Turn Zelda 64 games into 2D without it being 3D itself in 2D style.
I agree, I prefer Zelda in 3D, but I might put a 2D version on my R4 card for my DS so I can "KIND OF" play Ocarina of Time on a portable system. So this is something I would enjoy

No, actually not. It's made on GameMaker. Wich is a bit like RPGMaker but it's different in many ways too. The tyography it's the same, for example (that's why I thought it was RPGMaker).
Anyway, I didn't want it to sound like a bad thing. I love RPGMaker, and doing a good action-RPG on that program it's quite hard.
Dampe also steals tiles and sprites from other game developers and doesnt credit them, and on top of that fakes his own death because he realizes that an "Ocarina of Time 2d" is not possible without extensive planning. Many have tried, none are knowledgable enough about game design to even get close to succeeding.

Actually, making a game is a type of project which could take more than a year, maybe two. Not only because of the lack of professional equipment, but converting a 3D game to 2D form is also complicated and would take a long time to do JUST right. When you're basing it on someone else's work, you have to make sure every detail is precise. Not to mention how long OOT is on its own. :I

I think the roll wouldn't actually have been as hard as the other things, since the roll has been in a 2d zelda game before (Minish Cap)

Actually, making a game is a type of project which could take more than a year, maybe two. Not only because of the lack of professional equipment, but converting a 3D game to 2D form is also complicated and would take a long time to do JUST right. When you're basing it on someone else's work, you have to make sure every detail is precise. Not to mention how long OOT is on its own. :I
