MHF2 - Gravios Training w/ SnS

damn.. i cant tell you how much i hate this fu#### bastard.. u.u he was the hardest bitch on Monster Hunters 1.. and now i try to kill him like 5 times and i cant just kill him.. do someone have any idea of how to make those really big barrels? it would be helpful.. or how to kill him with a non-elemental Sns? im not a picking kind.. i just go with what i have and try to make it as fast as i can :3

what i did was i slept him near the bombpickup area, set my 2 down in front of him, ran to grab the single there, then set the bombs off, trapped him, got some sleep hits in, then when he falls asleep once more, you bomb him again

I think so, never tried it. You probably wont have enough time to get new supply bombs.

This will involve with only 2 sleeps on grav. Place the supply big one outside, and a lg one inside, then hit the big one for the 3x dmg and repeat. You wanna do this because you want the 3x dmg on the supply one. I think he will still live, and just slap him some and your remaining lg bomb and he might die.

I did it this way:When Quest is starting run without taking rations into the left corner of the arena put a pitfall trap there,then put Large Barrel Bombs (normal no supply)then you have to wait until hes before the Bombs,now you have to lay a small Barrel Bomb to make the two bombs explode.

Then he should stagger,after this he should run into the trap,then you have to attack the Gravios until he sleeps,when he sleeps put a Large Barrel Bomb and a Supply Barrel Bomb in Front his Face,then take the Supply Barrel Bomb from the corner and make the two bombs explode.Then you have to make him sleep again,then you have to put the last two Bombs infront his face,when you have done alright,he should die after this explosion.

sandman spike, take the bone path of the swd nd shield up to weary finswrd, then upgrade, final upgrade is high sandman spike, most useful for some monsters, as u can sleep and bomb

i got a question. Is there a specific reason you arrange your bombs a slight distance apart from each other? i.e Stomach , Head and a small bomb in a straight line. It took me 6 barrel bombs exactly to kill, one of which i digged out from like you did...

Yep. The inside bomb and the outside bomb makes him flinch twice, sort of cancelling his scream counter attack. You have to place the small barrel bomb outside of him, so the big bombs will be the ones that will get the 3X damage instead, taking only 4 large bombs to kill :P

Ah thanks. That explains why i can't even sleep bomb kill Dual Rahjang. I brought all bomb+, had abnormal sts atk up, bomber and STILL failed >_>
