The true followers of christ are a very small group. Many who think they belong to this group do not. We dont 'follow' people! We may be taught gods word and principles by an individual, but we have only one father. God gave us all a brain and he intended for us to use them. No child of god blindly follows anyone.

I just wonder what sort of legal strategy or bargaining chip would be taken away if Bishop Eddie Long simply said: "I didn't do it." It's hard to imagine that he would lose a case in civil court by simply echoeing that small aforementioned sentence.
It leads me to doubt extremely any innocence he proclaims (especially if he didn't proclaim any innocence AT ALL).
