@dnabiologic Agree with you totally. Some songs are better sang by one person than an other and the other way around to. To give an extreme, Leona would be rubbish at Hard Rock, etc. But Hard Rock bands would be rubbish at what she does.

I think Leona is a good singer, but it really annoys me when people (mainly the Brits) say that she's the next Mariah Carey, or she's better than Mariah Carey. Leona's voice is too light and agile to carry the vocal power Mariah has. I know plenty of Mariah songs that Leona's voice could never handle. People just need to stop kidding themselves. Leona is nowhere near Mariah vocally.

Mariah owned this song not just coz it's her song that she made, but also she pioneered the song and her rendition gives the chills that will lead you to sublime world.
