@msnoahxlukefan ha yep. it was hard because I only tried after I binged, which only happened a couple times a week, so I wasn't trying every single meal. And I was paranoid of being seen and it was dusk and hot out with gnats attacking my face like kamikaze. It basically sucked lol. I'm not currently a bulimic though, I never got the hang of purging. I have ED-NOS.

@dennalilly an ex gf of mine puked in mere seconds....once you gete used to it, or your stomach gets used to it, all you need to do is bend over or push the right way on your stomach. She n ever made any noise either. No fingers needed either. It just depends on the body and how often you8 do it.

Okay I know I shouldn't be smiling right now, being a bulimic. But this is just....I don't know what to say. First of all, she's talking with no emotion whatsoever and it's making it hard to sympathize with her. Second, I understand that after a while, you can be able to throw up quickly but she's just started. I've been bulimic for a year and I'm still in the bathroom for at LEAST 5 minutes. It could be up to 30 even. She's in and out like you wouldn't believe. And how can she purge so neatly..

@ShadowousAngelous Actually I use to not eat in high school. I preferred doing that as opposed to binging. I understand the feeling of control. I Honeslty could not make myself throw up. The acidity felt in the throat is repulsive. My roomate is bullmic. I've been trying to help her ween off of it. I'm not trying to be offensive, but I'm not going to glamorize this. It's pretty gross to smell an aroma of vomit in the restroom constantly.

The time it takes to puke is only unrealistic for a beginner. It doesn't take much time at all to screw up your GI tract. Reverse peristalsis is not uncommon after years of abuse. I gave myself pretty bad reflux and after a few months of daily vomitting was able to just lean over the sink to purge. It also helped I didn't binge, just restricted and threw up regular meals, well chewed and probably partially digested. When she threw up in the morning that wasn't much food at all.

I had reflux and always had reverse peristalsis but it didnt mean id b in and out of the restroom in 2 mins after a long binge

I used to use peanut butter jars or tupperware containers when I shared with other people and couldn't use the toilet.

It does take longer than five seconds, but no more than 5 minutes... though after 8 years I guess that makes it easier..

firstly my binges are more private than in the back of the car. in the middle of the woods really isn't an ideal place to binge? They're also less focused on the food itself, like i'd watch a film while bingeing, so i don't think about how much i'm eating.

secondly, purging sessions take AGES, and you'd never be able to get away with staying in a communal bathroom that long without an excuse, e.g. a very long shower. you don't even get everything out even if you do spend that long throwing up.
