@Matshoppahulle Yes Leonard Cohen wrote it a great song but(and this is where people will hate me for saying it) his version is over produced. Where Buckley's version was strip to just with Buckley's beautiful vocal performance & simple guitar playing,made it a definitive version.

Typical mainstream, everyone is listening to, hype!! It's not a bad version, and the guitar at the start is original and puts his own label on it, but in terms of vocals, which this song is all about, it's the most draggy and boring. Check out Espen Lind's version with Kirt Nilsen and another two fellas.
