This is the freaky part when the shadow of the woman becomes an animated creature. It also what makes this flick so good I think is the transformation of live characters becoming animated. It takes both great talent and such skill to do such great piece of work.

@polskapower0 You can see storyline from Wikipedia, so it is useless for me to narrate about it.

The symbolism is simple and actually more about basic feelings, but when combined, makes still complex story. From 3:05 to 4:43 is obviously anger and frustration. After that section he is screaming at silent city of night, which (could) resembles that Pink's anger is ignored and life is still the same. He starts to feel lonely and falls into psychosis while memories flash by.

You are living in insane roller coaster of life; you cant escape and it drives you insane, but more horrendous, nobody seems to care, because all they do is watch TV and kill others, whom they don't even know. You want to rest even for a moment, but it is not possible, because careless and cold world drags you always back to the reality. This movie is about madness of others and the victim is mr. Pink.

If you watch the movie, she cheats on Pink (he finds this out at the end of Young Lust on the album and before Empty Spaces in the movie during a phone call) and he might just want revenge and thats what he wants to do and that is what I think.
