Liberals call people racist when they are losing an argument. Anyways I would have no problem with an income or socio-economic form of affirmative action. However race-based affirmative action based on race would discriminate against low income Asians and whites because it would give an unfair advantage to the children of rich minorities (the children of Kobe Bryant, Will Smith, George Lopez, etc.)
