The IWC is essentially a joke anyway. The reality is, that Japan is a sovereign nation and if they want to whale in international waters, there's not much anyone can do about it. The only semi-authority in this matter is the IWC or the U.N. and neither seem interested in curtailing the whalers actions. The S.S. are just pirates and no matter how noble they believe their are, or how sincerely they want to do go, they have no authority at all.

In 1940 25% of the meat consumed by every person in Japan was whale meat. Today, that figure is .0001%., so why continue to whale?

You're mistaken. America liberated almost every island that Japan had taken. When they estimated the loss of life for invading the mainland of Japan, the atomic bombs were a better alternative. More people would have died through an invasion. And if we were losing, how did we get so close as to carry out bombing runs on their mainland, and eventually two nuclear attacks on both main islands? You need to go read your history book again.

Um, not that this has anything to do with the above video, but it's more than possible to make a nuke more deadly. You simply increase the yield, or amount of radiation and particles released from the bomb. For instance, the bomb used on Nagasaki, codenamed "Fat Man" had a yield equivalent to 21 kilotons of TNT. The weapon with the largest yield, the Soviet "Tsar Bomba", had a max yield of 100 megatons of TNT, though only detonated at 50 megatons. All info from Wikipedia, btw. So yeah...

hate to tell you this but america has no authority to tell super powers to not attack each other. china and russia and japan all sell weapons to each other and are all super powers they do not take orders from any country. america is the only super power right now that needs aid from other super powers and needs to be loaned money just to stay on its knees and not sink lower then it already is and become just a country instead of a super power.
