Really like the analysis because it sounds, well more probable. I do not think Manny will be toe to toe against Cotto unless Manny knows he can really hurt Cotto. The fighters weigh in at 145, but Cotto will be fighting near the Middleweight limit of 160 on fight night. Pacquiao may still be at or near the welter limit (147). He weighed 148 for the Welter fight against De la Hoya when he weighed in at 143 the day before. Cotto will have a huge weight advantage regardless of the catch weight. IMO fighters shouldn't be allowed to gain more than 5 lb when they rehydrate. In all probability on the 14th you'll see a Middle Wt fighting a Welter Wt.

Before the match was made on both camps, Roach or Team Pac were asking Cotto's camp if they will agree with the 142 or 143 lbs match up but they did not agree. Cotto's camp want to fight Pac at 145 lbs. They're the one who decided that weight coz before Roach was asking Mosley on that weight but he refused it.

Pacquiao box his way to victory? Since when has Pacquiao been a "boxer" he is only a fighter he does not outbox his opponents he just KO's them.

If anything Cotto is a better boxer, and he has better footwork, defense, weaving punches, good punch rate, great jab.

Pacquiao's only real advantage is speed. He doesn't have a jab, no defense (always takes a punch then raises his hands in the air which is annoying)

Good video. But, Manny circling to Cotto's right is fundamentally wrong for a southpaw, when fighting a conventional fighter. When a southpaw circles to the direction opposite of his jab hand, he's walking directly in the line of fire of his opponents power hand, (straight right hand) which is the cryptonite against the southpaw fighter. Pac should circle to his own right (his jab hand) and force Cotto to circle to the direction opposite of his own jab hand.

Cotto had a lot of problems against Judah before Judah's lack of defense and stamina worn him down. Manny is better than Judah and Cotto is still questionable after the Margarito fight. I don't think he was completely outboxed by Marquez, it was a close fight both times.

well its not cuz he beats cotto he could beat ssm if he wins in the cotto fight i have a feeling that this is gonna be so contravercial like if cotto wins but pac lasts 12 rounds i feel like they will give the fight to pac cuz they want to see pac vs floyd thats just me being honest,only way i see cotto getting a UD is if pac gets shut down ! but i feel this fight wont make it to round 12 i think cotto is way stronger than freddie & pac give him creadit for!

hey i think for what i have been watching as far as cotto & his training i think cotto is in better shape than ever & i think the fact that cotto can fight big in this fight like he use to in 140 i feel he will dominate pac for the fact i know cotto will land a shot that will make pacquiao want to turn the fight into a brawl! & pac fighting cotto in a brawl is a big no no! for me i think pac can stick to the plan of staying on the out side for only so long,that said i got cotto by ko b4 round 9
