@Barisaxmaster100 Well, It's not a quest, it's like a mini-game. If your player dies, you don't loose anything. You have to go through waves of monsters to get to Jad. In order to conquer those waves, you have to bring enough supplies to last long. If you look in my description for all the details needed. There are 63 waves and it can take 2hrs+ defending on how fast you finish all the waves.
@Necronty Yeah lol his flinch confuses a lot of people, I sometimes do that as well, but I know his moves as I'm used to it, but indeed I did that once and put mage protection on and luckily I survived that hit :P

The reason for your player died is your fault for not listening to the correct prayer and changing fast enough, just because Jad spawned away from where you expected doesn't mean this is a false video, apparently I have said in my video and description that Jad does not always spawn by Italy Rock, and one should lure him just far enough and back to spot for it to work or go to Dragon Rock.
Yea I got to jad and apprently I find out the hard way that Jad can hit through prayer. Cause I had protect from range on for more than 5 seconds and he hits a 599 on me and kills me.. with a range .. SO i warned you. Dont use sara brews while fighting jad. trap em somewhere and then do it. Also firecape isnt worth the 3m+ i have put into it. SO ive stopped trying :)
@xKontractKi11er That's 100% unlikely that you can get hit through Jad's attacks with prayer on, there must be a delay on the time you switch prayers.
@goosemunky Majority of the time it he does but in some occasions Jad will tend to do that, but you shouldn't let that get to you, because you should always keep range protection on first in case he does do that, always listen to the sounds, you can always drag him to different rock locations eg. Dragon claw looking rock!

@Ljcreijers he still does, it sounds like retribution prayer, it may not be the same but it sound just about like it, you should see his every moves that he performs, if he respawns just get close in camera view to see his attacks
Watched this guide, then about an hour and a half later, I get my first Fire Cape. Honestly, I don't think this really showed me anything I didn't already know... but it's still a good guide haha. Thanks bro :p

Get prayer 60 and get def up a bit, unless you have a certain class of character, and what are the thinks you are bringing, also you have to make sure you know what his attacks are otherwise it's hard if you can't keep up with his pace, but it's really easy if you concentrate on it lol

@freejellybeans Actually I have a couple of guides on my description page, the only way I know how to fight him if he respawns elsewhere is, to 100% have sounds on full volume, and majority of the time his first attack is Range, so protect from range, if Jad can not be seen on your camera, you must get to him quickly, and continue to follow his patterns, and the best way to attack healers, is right when he switches prayer, you do the same, and quickly hit healer and do this one by one!
@runeDagger1 Can you clarify a little more? Do you mean that Jad re spawned somewhere else? The video or check description, it should say that Jad does not appear in same location at all times but the majority of the time it will.
@runeDagger1 I see what your saying, as I said not every respawn are the same, but in your case when you got hit, you should've healed, you had plenty of time to do so before the healers even came, easiest way to heal quicker was using the shortcut keys, and also if you tried running all the way to the south , Jad fallows, then run back all the way to Italy rock area and it'll be the same set up as the video.
@runeDagger1 lol it's not wrong, it explains that jad doesn't always respawn there for some players it's random but it mostly does... also you could've easily done this, when you were close to him, you should've started attacking him, it was perfect opportunity, also when you moved away in panic, you should've done this while looking at jad's moves, You made Jad move close to the rock, you could easily return to spot and continue.
@Pkftmfw It is reccommended you hear the sound of the next attack he will make, you have to switch to prayer accordingly, it's the only way, what's your hp lvl?

@Pkftmfw you should easily defeat him with that stats and equipment, you should use sara brews for 99 hp temporarily , that way you don't get 1 shot or even 2 where ever the attack is coming from you should run towards it to locate jad.

@DeathReaper461 im not trying to be rude, or anything at all, but I think you should add in the Vid somewhere that the healers CAN still heal if they are close enough while attacking you.(you might have put it in somewhere and i missed it, just happend to read it offa comments) Its true though, Because me, being stupid decided to get close to him to be able to see his hp, and then was being healed, while all the healers were still attacking me, put em behind ya at longest range and your fine :)

@lightsword9 my stats were I can't remember for sure I might have to check my Original video's stats, 99 Range, 60 Prayer, 93 Def, 86HP, 75 attk, and 75 str. If you meet the requirements in the description you should have no problem!
@lightsword9 nah, I just went with what suited as the best way to kill Jad, Purple Candies are good to use too, I didn't use it because at the time I didn't like the purple candies idea lol

@clubpenguinsucks yes I've done recent jad attempts, They haven't changed, I still attack them they are still focused on you when you attack them just like in the video.
@Alejandrokid it's not always its random, for me most of them im by italy rock, you can easily drag him to italy rock, it's tricky by but can be done.

@mag3wins you can definitely do it with your stats and equipment, using ags instead of mace is definitely up to you, I used mace sense it was a worthy item to restore prayer and was not worth a lot of money to work around with :P
@LiveInTheMetalScene Full void is good to use as well, gives better hit damage and wastes less time, although watch out for defence , but you should be ok with that dfs can pretty much cover you from that, broads arrows or use crystal bow for waves no worries for arrow usage and good hits or use the rune c bow with diamond bolt (e) or you can use otherwise your good to go!
@Bloodheaven7 Don't worry you don't need 80 prayer for this, even 60 prayer it can be done, I'm just assuming it's just jad you have to concentrate, if your dieing because of jad, you need to remember his attacks.
@Bloodheaven7 no my friend you don't suck, just use the brews and restores wisely, at your level it should be a piece of cake, you just need to save those super restores, remember when getting hit by the healers, just put steal skin on, when low prayer just drink the super restores, 74 prayer for you is just enough to survive there. I'd highly advise that you concentrate on jad more, when healers are attacking you, just put steal skin on and concentrate on Jad's moves, prayer, and HP.
My ranged level is 80 and i have 52 prayer and 85 hitpoints but i dont have guthans(i have verac helm skirt and zamorak body)do you think i could kill jad with this?
@revengeofjax Well you keep Rapid attack on until healers arrive, then you switch to long range when doing the method as described in the video, the video even explains when to switch to long range attack, never use accurate(it's good and all but it's slow and not good for what we are going to do in this method)
@sianmc18 You have enough to kill jad with that much left, is you have 10 super restores left,that's plenty, and sara brew is enough a well, just use it wisely!

I did things a bit different. I got healers same line them up.
I however dont have the same skill clicking so what I did is used the safespot area. To heal and recharge prayer. I figure it worked for getting healers it would work for me to recover. So i never screen swapped. I watched my prayer.
Good thing I used it as I took a 988 hit. Without full sara I would have died.
@felipefmrune it's basically 50/50 it depends where he will spawn, but I usually get this spawn when ever I stand there before he appears. I am soon going to make a guide with different Spawn areas:-)
@superrunescapenerd10 most definetly indeed, except due now that it's not a powerful defencive armour to use but it can be the best advantage ever and killing jad with full void, he won't hit you if you keep up the pace of his prayers, it's just the healers you gotta out smart.
@superrunescapenerd10 75 is really good you can beat him with 75, 80 recommended, but not necessarily, it all depends on if you survive long enough to encounter Jad.
Arm: karils top, verac helm and skirt, d boots, archer ring, amulet og ranging, d hide vambs, dimond (e) and addy for fight caves, avas accumelator too and a sq dragon shield
@mainohit oh ye almost definitely, if you have super restores still left to survive jad, then you will most definitely will, it's not baout weather you kill jad or not, any lvl can kill him, you just need to watch out for his moves:P
@3bram72 well if you kill the healers and think you can kill jad before they appear, then go for it, but it's not really recommended, it's a waist of time and can distract you during your healer killing, best is you let them attack you while you attack jad, just make sure you don't have auto-attack on. And about the Jad spawn on other side, I am thinking about doing that video soon, so keep tuned for updates of my video!
@vvvREQUIEMvvv just like explained in the video, when they appear while jad's still attacking, go behind the Italy Rock, jad moves there, the healers follow him, and when you try to go back, they are busy healing him and you can move around :-) Lol it's like described in video.
2 waves till jad D: this is my 8th try but ok i did my other tries when i was lvl 100 now im 114 with much higher stats so wich me luck! (slayer task btw)
:D I'm on the last wave before jad, attempted 6 times and failed every time, 3 of them i disconnected on, and 3 i messed up due to panicking lol, I'm just about to try again hopefully our guide will give me more idea of what to expect

@chigozie123 because he's considered a "king" of the Tzhaars fighting place. Any it's common by people, it must also must have been mention when with monster was release that it was a "He"
The first time I tried fight cave, I was able to get to Jad (Don't know how I was able to get to Jad on first try) I died. The reason why I died was because I didn't know that Jad reacts when u hit him i.e. he goes down on one knee. So whenever he did that I thought he was doing his mage attack and always switched to mage protect. and that way I was killed really fast. As I was watching this vid, I then saw that what I thought was his mage attack is actually him reacting to the atatck lol.

they can be used to switch inventory prayer etc quickly without using the mouse to drag and click the icons, saves a lot of seconds and can save your life when fighting jad.
@OdavavaCecirion thanks, no actually this is was my 2nd attempt on this video, After reading a couple of guides, I put the "forum" guides to the test with an actual footage of how I would do. In this video, I just wanted to practice to see if I can reach Jad, Next thing you know , I'm killing Jad. You just gotta build confidence!
Your video was an awesome guide. I used another typed article guide too. I was on the final battle, Jad spawned in the middle, It started with mage hit 510 on me, then it lagged from Jagex, when it's back he was ready to shoot, I wasn't able to change to quickly because of the lag. then it kills me with like 614. I think I'm quitting, so pissed from this game. I just want to tell you, your video was a great help on all except starting part. Please be more careful. I don't blame you.
@heybch5227 When Jad is in middle, remember, Always have Protect from Range on if you can't see his hit. He usually uses range attack first in most cases. When ever you hear a sand being scraped, that's magic attack, when you hear like a rumble it's range, also in video, use prayer steal skin, to avoid healer attacks(keep it on at all times when they arrive. You only need to practice Jad's moves. It's what gets most people!

92 range, 84 def and 95 hp yet i've had my ass handed to me by this big red beast on numerous occasions, but finaly, the first guide that takes time and explains the final fight, i make it all the way to jad easily, i also dont use up many brews and minimum restores, it's just the one and only legend himself, jad. but thank you so much for explaining stuff i wasnt too sure about to begin with, such as starting prayers and where to hide before he pops up, rated 5/5 thanks man, your awesome :)
@sneedr521 actually your stats are gr8 to fight jad, you don't need to worry about your stats lol, just focus on jad's move and that's what counts when fighting him.
fuck! i got murdered as soon as jad came out, i didnt put my prayer on intime and got a massive hit, so i had to heal but in doing so i could not switch my prayers accordingly so i started just jugging my 2 sara brews i had but no luck...
The only thing that I have trouble with for Jad is the healers. Only reason is because he never spawns behind Italy rock, and I'm too scared to drag him there xD. I've tried 4 times, each one getting Jad halfway dead, then I always get massacred =/
@1BlackSunshine1 Yea, most people get scared at Jad, just think of Jad as a normal monster, dragging Jad can be difficult, but it can be done. As soon as Jad appears, get Jad to a corner where you think he can't see you, he won't hit you until he gets closer, then run to Italy rock hide location, if Jad is coming your direction move opposite side of Italy rock. While running, the only thing you have to look at is his attacks to switch prayer, you can try to practice the sounds.
Do you fight him directly were u got wat u have to do? do u have to do a quest?

@mag3wins you can definitely do it with your stats and equipment, using ags instead of mace is definitely up to you, I used mace sense it was a worthy item to restore prayer and was not worth a lot of money to work around with :P

so you think full void range, dfs, fury, snakeskin boots, diamond (e) bolts with broads for the first few levels would be a good idea?

@LiveInTheMetalScene Full void is good to use as well, gives better hit damage and wastes less time, although watch out for defence , but you should be ok with that dfs can pretty much cover you from that, broads arrows or use crystal bow for waves no worries for arrow usage and good hits or use the rune c bow with diamond bolt (e) or you can use otherwise your good to go!

@Bloodheaven7 Don't worry you don't need 80 prayer for this, even 60 prayer it can be done, I'm just assuming it's just jad you have to concentrate, if your dieing because of jad, you need to remember his attacks.

@Bloodheaven7 no my friend you don't suck, just use the brews and restores wisely, at your level it should be a piece of cake, you just need to save those super restores, remember when getting hit by the healers, just put steal skin on, when low prayer just drink the super restores, 74 prayer for you is just enough to survive there. I'd highly advise that you concentrate on jad more, when healers are attacking you, just put steal skin on and concentrate on Jad's moves, prayer, and HP.

@revengeofjax Well you keep Rapid attack on until healers arrive, then you switch to long range when doing the method as described in the video, the video even explains when to switch to long range attack, never use accurate(it's good and all but it's slow and not good for what we are going to do in this method)

I used this style and It worked wonderful..
I did things a bit different. I got healers same line them up.
I however dont have the same skill clicking so what I did is used the safespot area. To heal and recharge prayer. I figure it worked for getting healers it would work for me to recover. So i never screen swapped. I watched my prayer.
Good thing I used it as I took a 988 hit. Without full sara I would have died.

@felipefmrune it's basically 50/50 it depends where he will spawn, but I usually get this spawn when ever I stand there before he appears. I am soon going to make a guide with different Spawn areas:-)

@superrunescapenerd10 most definetly indeed, except due now that it's not a powerful defencive armour to use but it can be the best advantage ever and killing jad with full void, he won't hit you if you keep up the pace of his prayers, it's just the healers you gotta out smart.

@mainohit oh ye almost definitely, if you have super restores still left to survive jad, then you will most definitely will, it's not baout weather you kill jad or not, any lvl can kill him, you just need to watch out for his moves:P

@3bram72 well if you kill the healers and think you can kill jad before they appear, then go for it, but it's not really recommended, it's a waist of time and can distract you during your healer killing, best is you let them attack you while you attack jad, just make sure you don't have auto-attack on. And about the Jad spawn on other side, I am thinking about doing that video soon, so keep tuned for updates of my video!

@vvvREQUIEMvvv just like explained in the video, when they appear while jad's still attacking, go behind the Italy Rock, jad moves there, the healers follow him, and when you try to go back, they are busy healing him and you can move around :-) Lol it's like described in video.

The first time I tried fight cave, I was able to get to Jad (Don't know how I was able to get to Jad on first try) I died. The reason why I died was because I didn't know that Jad reacts when u hit him i.e. he goes down on one knee. So whenever he did that I thought he was doing his mage attack and always switched to mage protect. and that way I was killed really fast. As I was watching this vid, I then saw that what I thought was his mage attack is actually him reacting to the atatck lol.

Your video was an awesome guide. I used another typed article guide too. I was on the final battle, Jad spawned in the middle, It started with mage hit 510 on me, then it lagged from Jagex, when it's back he was ready to shoot, I wasn't able to change to quickly because of the lag. then it kills me with like 614. I think I'm quitting, so pissed from this game. I just want to tell you, your video was a great help on all except starting part. Please be more careful. I don't blame you.

@heybch5227 When Jad is in middle, remember, Always have Protect from Range on if you can't see his hit. He usually uses range attack first in most cases. When ever you hear a sand being scraped, that's magic attack, when you hear like a rumble it's range, also in video, use prayer steal skin, to avoid healer attacks(keep it on at all times when they arrive. You only need to practice Jad's moves. It's what gets most people!

92 range, 84 def and 95 hp yet i've had my ass handed to me by this big red beast on numerous occasions, but finaly, the first guide that takes time and explains the final fight, i make it all the way to jad easily, i also dont use up many brews and minimum restores, it's just the one and only legend himself, jad. but thank you so much for explaining stuff i wasnt too sure about to begin with, such as starting prayers and where to hide before he pops up, rated 5/5 thanks man, your awesome :)

The only thing that I have trouble with for Jad is the healers. Only reason is because he never spawns behind Italy rock, and I'm too scared to drag him there xD. I've tried 4 times, each one getting Jad halfway dead, then I always get massacred =/

@1BlackSunshine1 Yea, most people get scared at Jad, just think of Jad as a normal monster, dragging Jad can be difficult, but it can be done. As soon as Jad appears, get Jad to a corner where you think he can't see you, he won't hit you until he gets closer, then run to Italy rock hide location, if Jad is coming your direction move opposite side of Italy rock. While running, the only thing you have to look at is his attacks to switch prayer, you can try to practice the sounds.
