You're a good guitarist and obviously like good music but i feel like you missed one simple but distinct fiber of the song, its messy but self perpetuating charisma. The song isn't meant to be clean, which your lack of playing with you're heart not your ears disabled you from doing.. keep up the good playing though.

I do write my own songs, I'm working on my fourth release. And just because you don't like someone doesn't mean they suck. It's a matter of taste. I can't stand plenty of bands, but if they're selling records to humans with brains then they must be doing something right. IMO if at least one person likes a song then it has worth and that one person's taste is as valid or important as yours or mine.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion; His voice may sound slightly 'disney', however he can keep better note than the other guy and has superb guitar abilities.

I think he tries to project his voice louder than he can currently achieve (giving the 'Disney-ness'), however, if he wants to improve, he must.

I can see Dave becoming famous. In my opinion he should try something like The Only Ones; 'Another Girl, Another Panet' or Don McClean's; 'American Pie'.
