  • What size and offset are those wheels/tires? I'd like to get a set that just tucks up underneath the fenders like those.

  • Toyota diffs and axles are VERY strong!

  • What a sleeper.

  • What wheels are on this truck?

  • @nascar882011 old school enkei wheels.

  • Very nice! Is that 15lbs on stock internals?

  • @deftoneart01 yes all stock except for cams. i later on boosted around 19psi daily

  • @blabblah69

it that whole front clip from a 4runner or just the grill and bumper?

  • @Guerrero931 yeah, grills and bumper only.

  • crazy... my question is, what kind of rear diff is he using? if its a stock 2wd solid rear thats insane because im pretty sure its not strong enough to hold a 1jz's torque or is it?

Im guessing he did a independent suspension weld job to fit a supra pumpkin in the back to withstand the torque. or does the supra have a solid rear axle too? i never bothered looking into it, wouldnt mind doing this to my yota.. 1jz in a yota... i never would have thought of that haha very original i must say.

  • @kaneakuaman : This truck was running stock solid rear end for awhile with welded spider gears. it held up great but I got tired of tire chirps in parking lot so I switched over to a Detroit Tru trac LSD.

  • I'm doing this with my 85 longbed. Going to have to stiffen the frame considerably, lower it, and do suspension work otherwise it won't handle the horsepower. Also putting the full rear axle assembly from a 300zx in it.

  • looks way better dude!

  • NOW thats a SLEEPER!!!

  • is that stock??

  • is that the original front bumper and grill, looks different?

  • kinda looks like 4runner bodywork

  • now that i think about it, it kinda does

  • It had a 4 runner front end.

  • wat all have you done to

  • i was just wondering, is that a supra engine?

  • its a 1jz similar to the 2jz found in the 93+ supra

  • I wonder if a GT-S rwd celica would hold this engine..

  • yes it would. enough money can make anything happen. I think i've seen some 7mgte's in the gt-s rwd.

  • i have a ratty gt-s and a 1jz setup... might have to get busy on that one.. The 1JZ has an auto, though.. gt-s only has w58..

  • You can mate them! All you need is a supra w58 bell housing. This truck has a w58 in it. So no excuse, get it going lol

  • Hey dude that's a nice ass truck. You must have to sandbag the fuck out of the bed, huh? Especially when it rains lol. Is it your daily driver, though?

  • lol driving in the rain, I just had to stay off boost no matter if I had the bed loaded or not.

  • Yeah, I can understand. I had an '88 Supra turbo that was tons of fun (when the electrical was all in check), and I really want another. There's this road out where I live called Ten Eyck Rd. and it's 6 miles of nothing but twisties, and I drifted the hell out of it.

  • nice use of a 2wd toyota.like the power your getting out of it

  • it's a 2wd

  • Yea I know whats the point of lowering a truck?

  • lower center of gravity which means better control

  • why are you selling? i plan to drop JZ in my truck sometime as i get a job

  • selling cuz i'm going back to college :( and its a money pit

  • ah dang, i'd miss it tho lol

  • yea I still need work on my 88 toyota pickup. at least mid 13's. already spent too much on it.

  • what it's qauter mile time.

  • still have to do that soon. hoping for mid 12 to low 12's on street tires.
