Yes Ashley did cryed in the being of the season then toward the end of the season she started playing more! But Mary-Kate did took the role of Michelle in the first season then Ashley started taking the role on the second season but then on the third season they started taking turns!

Hey I think this video is awesome and I'm not criticizing, but in the audio commentary on the dvd, Jeff Franklin states that it is Mary-Kate in the scene at 1.34 that you have listed as Ashley (when she finds the cookie in the bag). I agree with you on most of the others though :)

How I tell them apart in the first season is the bangs Ashley's bangs are longer than Mary-Kate's. Mary-Kate hair is more shorter~ Also they hair color Mary-Kate hair is more ligther and Ashley more darker~! Unit Ashley got her frenkle even though you don't see it in the two seasons~

it is easily to tell them apart. I look at their banges. Mk banges are lighter and Ashley's are slightly darker. Another way I can tell them apart is ashley is taller than mk. When I look at one I know who it is.

when they are on full house, you cant tell by their size becoz they arent on together. Ashley's "bangs" (we call them fringes in Australia) are usually darker, but sometimes her hair is lighter, depending on the lights they have used in the studio. Also you can't tell this in season one, becoz their hair is the same colour and it's kind of Orange. I can tell them apart by ther faces, like their nose and mouth. Mary-kate has eyes that ash doesnt have and thats how i tell when its her.

thanx! Yes, when i first watched full house i couldnt tell the difference, but i really wanted to so i just began to learn their different features and then it came easily, suddenly. Now i can tell them apart as babies, which most people think they'd never be able to, like i did, but now i feel very complete watching the show knowing who is who.

yeah, i think maybe 0:36 could be mk, but from a distance it sorta looked like ash, but its could still be mk. 1:02 i really recon is ash, and at 1:30 if you watch that scene you can see that in one shot michelles hair is long at the front (like her fringe) and then the next it is short. In other scenes, ash always has short fringe and mk has longer so i thought it might be ash. But i could be wrong, i just thought that she sorta looked like ash, also.
