It's pretty ridiculous how much censorship the 90s SM cartoon had, considering what other cartoons around that time got away with. Gargoyles actually had one of the main characters get shot. Batman had Matt Hagen get chemicals forced down his throat, had Jack Ryder get thrown into a vat of unknown chemicals, and had Jim Gordon get shot. In X-men Sabretooth actually slashed & cut Wolverine in the stomach, even if there was no blood shown.

Also, the ban that gave us Archie, Sabrina, Scooby-Doo and the others in the early '70's also did away with Space Ghost, Shazzan, Mighty Heroes, Popeye, and Superman, among MANY other beloved heroes!
