  • the menoth models look friggin amazing. The cav for the menoth looked a little bland because the horses and armour seemed to be the same colour, but the rest of it, DROOL!!!

  • really great pictures, and an awesome audio track!

  • The more of these models I see the more tempted I am to buy them but I as I already have enough to paint and assemble i will not give in to temptation yet. :)

  • Hello VIV ! As a former employee of Privateer Press please tell all of the players . THANK YOU for painting there miniatures so well . Its nice to see people who love the Hobby as well as the Game . Best of luck !

  • ok for someone who has no idea about anything to do with warmachine, im liking the idea of; im guessing they are steam powered war-machines (or am i over simplifying?) but is there an army that is just machines or is it a mix or is it like 40k where you have all these models and you just build around your ideas?

    thx in advance

  • @hamoostaffat - You're spot on - Warmachine is set in a place called Iron Kingdoms, the game is centred around two things -1) your warcaster and 2) warjacks - steam powered machines that are 'linked' or controlled by your warcaster. Like 40k, you have a choice of 'units' to include in your army also, these are generally living beings. I'll grab some of the warmachine guys shortly and do some 'intro' videos but search for SteamPoweredTV on utube, he does some cool stuff about warmachine - Viv

  • @RubbishInRubbishOut awesome thx Viv just got me a new subscription, (cant have too many of them)

been liking the look of some of these models i been seeing come up, hopin i can get into it sometime, i think im kinda falling out of the gamin side (nobody to play against) and gettin more into painting models i like the look of for the heck of it, just tryin to find that spark again havnt really done much last few months :(

  • @RubbishInRubbishOut There's also hordes (some of the models in these pics are Hordes models) which is a compatible game featuring huge warbeasts rather than the steam powered warjacks. You can see a few warbeasts in the pics such as my Skorne Titan Gladiator (big red elephant thing) and a few Legion warbeasts (the dragon looking stuff). The big difference in the games is how warlocks vary from warcasters, one game is about resource management, the other risk management - Mike.

  • Great work Viv. Nice to have someone do a little retrospective on a great day. - Pedro

  • Looks like a very successful tourney Viv. And those are some fantastic minis people have done up.

  • @MoreDakka101 - All I did was make the space available at Battle Bunker to the awesome guys that actually organised and ran the tourney, all thanks goes to them! Cheers - Viv

  • Very cool Warmahordes video Viv! I like seeing that people are fielding the calvary units in the game. Not too many people I know use them. I didn't see any "black pajama" clad armies that were all just primer. You must have a pretty dedicated group.

  • @highpriestrsw2 The Australian tourney scene across games is pretty pro-painting (for painting, not painted by pros :D ) There's lots of talent floating around in Victoria so we are pretty lucky that most of the time things will be at least tabletop standard. Now we just need to get the Malifaux players caught up. - Mike

  • cool

  • HOTNESS!!!

  • yo dude long time no see, eh?

  • Very nice armies :D Loving the photos and especially enjoyed the blue fellas at 3.40. Thanks for sharing Viv. Was wondering what all the commotion was yesterday, looks like it was a blast!

  • Hey Viv. Who's are the miniatures at 2:20, 2:40 ish. Can't say what the miniatures are as I don't play Warmachine. But the tone on tone colouring is very appealing. Like it.

  • @StalkersInAus Not sure who's they are but the whitish draconian things are Legion of Everblight models, we gave that crew best painted warcaster for Vayl (I don't think there's a pic of her in there) - Mike.

  • First comment! ;) besides that great pictures im glad u guys are playing Warmachine and Hordes its a fantastic game, soothing music also
