Hauntingly Angelic melody. I've heard it before a few times, but not sure that I knew the title. Tremendous! Some lovely photos. I recognize a few faces. Several Silent Actresses. Madge Bellamy, Mary Miles Minter, Wanda Hawley, Marie Prevost. Possibly Olive Thomas, June Collyer, and Mary Nolan. Maybe even Norma Shearer in one of these portraits. Might be able to figure out a few others. Pauline Frederick is named early on. I think Constance Talmadge is the mix once in profile as well.

A maiden in those days was basically a word for a young unmarried women... I assume the song is supposed to depict the rhythm and mood of what a young lady would dream of.
