The Doctor really must hurt after saying goodbye so many times - yet he soldiers on. I wouldn't be able to bear it, but he's so strong ...

So sad when Two said goodbye to Jamie and Zoe, and Three to Jo. Adric's death really shook Five up as well, and Tegan's departure ...

Really wish you'd put in Leela, Turlough and Nyssa's departures. And maybe Kamelion - after all, the Doctor mercy-killed him ...

Not to sound flippant, but I suppose after 900 years you would just be used to the goodbyes--there's some people I know who've said as many goodbyes as the Doctor.

If the Doc came 'round here, I'd never look back, lol! The classic eps are indeed timeless and brilliant =D

thank you - I can't remember why I didn't put Susan's departure in. I know it had something to do with the music and timing, but it's been a while since I made this video. My first song was Wander this World by Jonny Lang so the music was very different. I know I had the clip prepared, but for some reason had to remove it. Thank you for the comment. Have a great day!

If I'd been Zoe, I'd turned back round and ran to the Doctor and kissed him on the cheek and hugged him tightly and told him that if I have to leave fair enough, but please ... please don't forget me and do come back for me. And most of all I would have told him that he was just like a father to me and I loved him

Oh my word ... buckets of tears! My heart ached at every goodbye. I agree with lighthouse ... I'd rather be forced to leave than have my memories erased. The regenerations of the Doctor each have a special place in me heart. I would never ever want to forget them. And if I was ever given the chance to go with them, I would stay with them forever. Excellent vid! I'm all misty too...I had to say goodbye to a companion after 19 1/2 years. Only I'm like the 5th Doctor in my farewells, not sure if that's good or bad =[

Mixed emotions and thoughts for me here. The first two doctors are quite staid in their farewells which (although it seems unusual to be so staid when saying goodbye to those that you have been through so much with and come close to dying together so so many times) was I think a thing of the time [1960s real time in the UK] and was carried over from the stiff upper lip and all that stuff.

The third doctors farewell on the other hand is very emotional and sad, the fourth doctor is zany in his farewells, the fifth doctor though seemingly unemotional is clearly deeply affected by Adrics demise; and his behaviour is quite erratic when Tegan leaves.

Thank you, I appreciate your comment. I've always thought it was hard for the Doctor to have to say goodbye to his friends. Especially the second Doctor since Jamie and Zoe were forced to leave.

don't forget Jamie got his memories back, an audio play shoed him getting hit by lightning and then rejoining the Doctor for the Two Doctors in his timeline so only Zoe had all of her adventures (Except the first) erased

Yeah, presumably Jamie had lots more adventures with 2 before he was made to regenerate, at which time Jamie left, and went home, as the two Doctors is set before the 2nd doctor regenerates, as that is how 3 knew of Sontarans in the time warrior, 2 saw it and 3 remembered
