  • Damn, steroids are some serious stuff.

  • wow

  • This is greco roman and is a high school south dakota state championship> @kane93100 @bijansta200

  • @Watchmen2397 This isn't Greco roman wrestling. It's called folk style. AKA, high school, and college style of wrestling. In Greco you're not allowed to do anything below the waist. All upper body techniques.

  • @Watchmen2397 I will also say it's not a state championship due to the date. Early Nov. It looks to be an preseason tournament. The fact he had no headgear on, and the different kinds of singlets in the background, and there is no school name on them.

  • all i can say is gassed gassed gggaaaassssssed. he needed more conditioning. He was dead at the end.

  • It's Greco romain wrestling or free wrestling??

  • @kane93100 hmm since its 1996 he was in high school... this is considered scholastic wrestling. its not greco because in greco they don't shoot and its not freestyle either. Its called scholastic wrestling... its just another folk style though. imagine freestyle wrestling without the big slams. I beleive in college you get to really start slamming guys though. college is a modified form of freestyle. so is this i guess but its really light on the slams part. good for developing shots though

  • @vespaman101 Sorry I'm French, I know that the Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling. You are lucky in the U.S. can do that in your schools

  • @kane93100 ohhhh yeah i think its realy dumb how they don't do sports in schools in european countries. They should definitely do sports in the school systems. Not everyone has the money or time to do things outside of school. But i mean internationally its only greco and freestyle just for schools we have modified forms sometimes.

  • @vespaman101 Yes. My dream was to be a professional athlete (wrestling or boxing). I can not because when I was little, my parents did not have time to take me to a club every night outside the school. In France, the system does not care for sports. Understand why the French are rarely become champion. I could never be a professional athlete because of that country. It would have taken me to be born in the United States

  • @kane93100 yeah club sports is really .... they aren't as serious. Club sports here are for people who are either too young or too old to compete. or those who just aren'tgood enough to compete in school.

  • @vespaman101 Americans are lucky to sport. In the U.S., there is everything to be a good sport if you have the motivation to become one. I have this motivation to be an athlete, I have it on. But no opportunity was offered to me.

  • I dare you to do it again!

  • @nirson123 LOL, it wouldn't be fair

  • i think he was a sr in hs in this

  • Saw a pin not a "submission". Nice win but...kind of like Larry Owings upsetting Dan Gable. Who do you remember?

  • "way to go ryan!" shut the fuck up!

  • Anyone else noticed Brock wearing 2 different shoes?

  • heavyweight leg ridding :( ouch

  • Absolutely right. If there is one thing you need in wrestling it's conditioning. 6 minutes may not seem like much but you don't know until you have wrestled like a beast all 3 rounds and come out victorious. Best feeling ever.

  • I didn't see both shoulder blades touch for 2 seconds!

  • its a pin not a submission

  • wrestling has come a long way since this happened....

  • i thought guillotines are illegal in wrestling?

  • @thunderchundering that was the helicopter....and they arent

  • @SwaggerUSMCSniper ohh ok so it wasnt a choke?

  • @thunderchundering nah you are allowed to come across the throat as long as you dont choke...refs really dont like it but it flies

  • @SwaggerUSMCSniper ohh alright thanks im not familiar with wrestling rules.

  • Thats the brock i know

  • That single at 0:53 omg crazy

  • @asskicker1346 he was askin for it the whole period

  • did the tobin guy ever fight any MMA?

  • i seen so many moves Brock could have done while he was on he ground, and I'm a first year wrestler in high school

  • @SammaLammaify Difference is, the other guy is a beast its a little harder than you think.

  • @SammaLammaify well then youre an idiot. obviously know nothing about wrestling.

  • Hey, I never wrestled or anything but I have a question.. Why doesn't the guy in the red have head gear?

  • @MrYoookid in off season matches headgear isnt required

  • @MrYoookid May have been optional for that particular tournament. I sure as fuck would have worn it anyway just to avoid colloflour ear.

  • @MrYoookid And sometimes its not required at all. Depends if it's a very official tournament or if it's just a little weightline tournament.

  • Brock lesnar is a bitch wrestler

  • with his opponent's usa singlet, and with brock's red singlet and haircut, you'd swear he was from the soviet union

  • 5:05 "its rassling not wrestling!!"

  • I bet this Ryan guy has one of the best bar stories of all time. "Hey, you know, one time back in college I pinned brock lesnar."

  • its not a submission you tard its a pin. if it was a submission he wudda tapped (or passed out)

  • how could he lose when he does MMA? nd went into UFC?

  • @sonicgohard1 cuz that was before then? and plus wresting is a different sport than mma....

  • @sonicgohard1 he was a much better pure wrestler than he ever was mma fighter.

  • brocks stance is so funny

  • Ryan still controlled the entire match.

  • WAY TO GO RYAN !

  • The date on the video is when I was born

  • Funny how so many folks trash Brock and his UFC career. As a hardcore MMA fan, I know he wasn't the best fighter in the world but considering he jumped right into the sport at age 30 and accomplished what he did with NO mma background is amazing. Like him or not, no one else could walk into the UFC with no experience and do that well against the best in the world. Dana didn't match him up against tomato cans!

  • @jmonnett Most collegiate & olympic wrestlers are well equipped when walking in the door for MMA. Wrestling is a martial art of it's own right.

  • @jmonnett We've seen a number of high level collegiate wrestlers go into MMA and very early in their training have success at a high level. The other thing that's worth mentioning is that Brocks first 2 fights (outside of the UFC) were against cans. Brock was also matched up against a number of fighters that were significantly smaller than him, he started having trouble his last three fights, against opponents he couldn't out muscle.

  • anyone have a video of the wisconsin heavyweight justin staebler?

  • He is a slow monster.

  • I thought Brock was a good wrestler... :|

he just looks like a slow monster trying to grab someone.

  • Brock lesnear is a bitch

  • That boy was on him like white on rice.

  • He looks like he's getting his ads whooped

  • just f5 him already

  • Right after this match Brock discovered steroids. The rest is history

  • these guys would make excellent rapists.

  • @Frogger0neXx ahahahahahaha

  • @Frogger0neXx That is so true!!

  • i noe dis was back wen he was either prolly a senoir in high school or prolly a freshman in college but comon he cudve done something he must of been tired

  • y didnt brock sprawl are at leat cross face him ive been wrestling only for 2months n im a freshaman n i noe more den him

  • @MrMicropimpin no you dont brock was a national champ in college lol

  • @allbrosdjay i was just kidding but he didnt do things that i notice

  • 5:20 my favorite move

  • strength means nothing in wrestling

  • This is Brock Lesnar's humble beginning.

  • This is the 215 weight class. And whoever thinks pro wrestling is not scripted does not pay attention to reality

  • 2:11 i wonder why he didnt get that double leg trip?

  • ROIDS!!!!!!

  • @TheReemOne Absolutely. He nearly doubled his body weight inside of three years (and those were past his prime growing years). His current health conditions are common to heavy roid usage. And he has grown nearly 6 inches since he was 26. ROIDS!!! ROIDS!!!

  • dipshit whoever posted this video .. go take a wrestling

  • Wasn't this back in highschool? Before he got his expert level coaching in college?

  • @DefectiveDave you mean before he went on dbol and 3 grams of testo a week

  • @kallebaah0 yes... yes i do

  • that other guy is probably pissed brock is famous.

  • hmmm, well we know brock can stall and do more stalling! terrible technique!!!! why is he famous again?

  • Back when brock was 100 pounds lighter then he is today...

  • nice firemans setup!!

  • @SuperDukes18 You are the real moronic fuck if you think wwe is fake. Bet you would pussy out the second you were put in that ring.

  • @ballerbscott2 did you really just write this comment?? have you been smoking the greens or what? WWE is scripted and fake...that is OLD NEWS...come on man....

  • @ballerbscott2 Lmao...

  • Lesnars stance is ugly.....

  • ya but brock leniger made it in somthing in the sport an he didnt

  • GOODJOB RYAN!! GOOD JOB!! ..... SHUTUP DAD!

  • nice breakdowns blue team

  • what weight class is this?

  • @IhelpU4XBL 190lbs I think.

  • its not a submission its called a pin -____-

  • jakiś mały ten lesnar

  • even when he's small he's huge!! (that's what she said)

  • oh so he was never always that big after all he def used roids.

  • tht was a pin not a submission way off budy

  • @rabidbunnies2 either you are stupid or you are trying to start an argument that u can't win. Being WWE heavyweight champion is not a sporting achievement. It's like landing the lead role in the school play. It's all fake buddy. There is NO COMPETITION. Do u understand this? So listing lesnars WWE heavyweight championship as an achievement alongside his UFC (real fighting) achievement is just completely moronic. Like you. Go put a sleeper hold in your boyfriend.

  • @SuperDukes18 OKAY IDK IF ITS YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE SUPPORTING THE WWE IM TO LAZY TO FIND OUT BUT WHOEVER IT IS HERES PROOF THAT ITS FAKE

    watch?v=03LsMmM0lFs

    (ufc,grecko,freestyle is real shit)

  • @atzo5 and you are a complete moron for your comment. Someone wrote as a list of lesnars achievements (which are impressive) 'WWE Heavyweight Champion' This is not a sporting achievement!?! This is like acting in a movie or dancing in a ballet. I could be WWE champion if the script writers wanted it you fucking fag. NOT A GENUINE SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT. Now Fuck Off fan boy pussy.

  • poke em in the eyes left hook

  • He looks so small without the PEDs!

  • DARR YA GO RYAN

  • Thank you carolinetobin1

  • What weight class is this?

  • Brock Lesnar was 12 years old when this was recorded.

  • @apocalypse123 and he was 17

  • Damn Ryan made the fat man his bitch.

  • Just like in UFC, Brock is ridiculously strong but good technique beats strength every day.

  • @schapadap dunno about everyday. It's funny you say that because I've seen a lotta strong guys overpower technical guys

  • @JonT561 yea thats true I guess you need some strength as well in anything

  • @schapadap It's all a factor. strength, technique, quickness, endurance, it all plays into a fight or wrestling match.

  • @schapadap well uh did u see this guy become ncaa champion? or WWe wrestler??? or UFC hw champion??? i doubt it just because brock loses does not meen he has no skill ur just another hater man u cnt say he didnt do great in mmau cant say he had no skill in the ncaa stupid haters dont know what there talking about

  • @justthatbeastkid Yeah, because WWE is SOOOOOO real.

  • @schapadap brock has technique he was a national champ in college

  • @allbrosdjay Im not sayin he doesnt have technique, just that hes come to rely on his superior strength and athleticism for most of his career, and hes accomplished a lot but he gets stopped against people who know how to use his strength against him. he expends a lot of energy and some people know how to use that to wear him down

  • @schapadap not really randy coture frank mir and shane carwin.

  • @l3eastly0ne He overwhelmed couture and mir with his size and speed but he never showed any sort of mma finesse, and his submission of Carwin isn't him developing jui-jitsu, it was a simple submissionand he was getting his ass kicked by carwin too. oh and don't forget cain velasquez, who doesn't have stand up either, tko'd brock, not to mention overeem and i can only imagine how dos santos would destroy him on the feet and submit him on the ground..

  • i had a buddy in hs had the same style his hands were like fucken pliers once he grabbed your wrists you were fucked

  • @thehtgrts Happened to me in a match last week. The guy benched like 650. LULZ.

  • lesnar was just fucking strong. you can tell how much strength he had by breaking free in the beggining

  • From watching this, it's still hard for me to believe he went 106 - 5 in college.

  • good job ryan

  • Damn is he stiff and awkward!

  • thats 15years ago ,its all about the moment.

  • Lesnar before he starting stacking mass amounts of steroids...not that he was 'roid free here.

  • Thats a pin, no subs in collegiate wrestling. Some of you should read more and comment less.

  • @50pushups

    I agree 100%

  • Simply put..2 awesome athletes.

  • Where's Ryan Tobin now?

  • @obtrusivley lol

  • Lesnar reaches a fuck ton

  • how can none of you fucking retards tell he was pinned??

  • Tap out Brock Lesnar! Are you kidding me! You won 7-4. If one taps from not being about to breath you start in referee position. You rode the hips like shit and he did an awful job defending it. You didnt tap nobody out.

  • @MrArmyofonex yeah but yoou can tell he can still breathe and if you tap out just because you think youre gonna pinned youre a fuckin pussy.

  • he did not tap out, either he lost by a point or he got pinned i cant tell cause of the quality

  • @ZoMbiEtRaiN90

    he got pinned

  • 1:33 the dude in the back getting slammed :D

  • if it was ufc Lesnar would have messed him up

  • @3r1kSaxCh3Z509

    Like he messed up Overeem?

  • @obtrusively Are you saying Lesnar messed up Reem?

  • That KidRyan had some skills on him.

  • BROCK: 105 WINS - 5 LOSSES

    TOBIN: WHO CARES

  • @WilsonT011 you do realize Tobin is a 3 Time All American and Pan Am National Champ?

  • Was that the Turk? That was the first wrestling move I learned in highschool before I quit two weeks later. I did however use in my first match and won wooohooo. then i quit the next day.

  • @therhythmatic no that was not a terk i forgot what the move was called but it is very affective

  • @cardmaster5678 i call that move the "high leg over" idk if you call it the same. well it started as a high leg over but kind of changed into a turk without the leg. and lastly the move when he grabbed the other leg and pulled it towards brocks head, i call it the telephone. :D

  • This shows nothing... every dog has its day... and no matter who YOU think u are.. there is always someone tougher,, like the great late mike tyson said 'Everybody has a plan,, till they get hit;... brock is build like a heavy weight... where kurt angle wasnt.. that would of been a match both at the top of there game.... kurt takes brocks lunch money..lol

  • jesus christ brock lesnar was a fucking monster look at the size of him when he was a kid! This video just shows that if u have enough skill ... it doesnt matter how strong your opponent is.

  • Save and cherish this clip because that would never happen again lol

  • Damn, Brock got completely handled. Technique > brawn.

  • Ummm brock would absolutely destroy this guy now..

  • if any of you actually new what they where talking about you would love this video. that was a great match good job. i love when the cocky boys lose.

  • @Dreamlander4 wow did u just mention Brock lesnars wwe heavyweight championship as some sort of reputable sporting achievement? Please kill yourself.

  • @SuperDukes18 well he had more than jus that....UFC heavyweight title

  • @SuperDukes18 nah, the wwe title means something. not only do you have to be physically talented enough to slam someone around for half an hour without hurting them, but you also need to be enough or an asshole or hero to get a reaction from the crowd while you do it. wrestling may be fake in itself, but the physical demands and risk of injury is very real.

  • @SuperDukes18 you're naive and narrow-minded to not be able to see the physical demand of the wwe wrestlers. Just being in the business is an achievement in of itself.

  • Is this High school?

  • sac tap at 1:24

  • who cares, this was 15 years ago man, i bet today Ryan Tobin isn't a former WWE champion, Former NFL player, and UFC Heavyweight champion!!

  • @Dreamlander4 Lol "former WWE champion." It is SUCH an honor to be a champion on an entertainment promotion that is SCRIPTED.

  • @drfeelgud88 It "WAS". Now any WWE Championship mean nothing

  • @drfeelgud88 Lol actors are ok with it. They even get Oscar's for it. Now Having held the UFC belt is a real honor! That showcases Brock's serious wrestling skills

  • 'LESNAR DONT NEED NO HEADPROTECTION

  • @nachoman083 the head protection doesn't even protect your head.

  • @davidonutsack its supposts to protect your ears not your head

  • @nachoman083 the headprotection its for gays

  • wow...

    im not a lesner fan...

    i wrestle as well

    and...

    He wasnt down.....

    What ever...

lesner would probably flick him NOW anyways

  • Why not just take his back and rear naked choke him? lol i know, it's stupid. Probably different rules.
