Think the reason why the C5 failed is that the press at the time had speculated so much about what this thing would be. Will it be a Fiesta sized car?

Then THIS is unveiled and made a lot of them look stupid. Plus it was fashionable at that time to bash Sinclair.

IF he had built and released this a couple of years back it would have been classed as a clean, environmental answer to Climate Change.

Ahead of its time, but I'm not surprised it was a failure.

As it was to be road-legal, many people at the time of its release said that they'd feel very uncomfortable sitting that low, with the wheels of overtaking lorries whooshing by their head! I can see what they mean......

I actually watched a show about this recently. They should have made this a two seater convertable. Were did you get this from? Was it expensive?
