  • Does anyone got Boot issue with this board? I OC my 750 to 4.0Ghz

and every time i boot the computer the whole system turned on for 1-2 sec and then shut down immediately and turns back on automatically, could it because of my OC?

  • @qhoa1385 Yeah I guess, check your OC setup again to make sure everything runs good and cool. You're Vietnamese ??

  • @MYMAnarchy turned out it wasn't my OC, i switched to a different, bios, start it with clock speed and everything, still got the problem

    and yup

  • @qhoa1385 I'm Vietnamese too. How could you get that EVGA board? I see pretty much no retailer got that board. Oh it wasn't from the OC, out of idea :D

  • I have been running this board since last year. 205bclock with i7 860. The limit is my CPU, not the mobo. Has proven to be more stable than my previous Gigabyte P45. That used to have cold boot lockups. The socket 775 cooler mounting is useful as well although I have now changed to an 1156 waterblock.

Support over at EVGA is very good. I help people overclock the board over at EVGA P55 forum. It's not perfect, it doesn't have the auto failed overclock recovery other boards have...

  • sorry a bit new to this stuff, is there a better motherboard that could handle 2 graphic cards?

and if so which graphic cards should i buy

    prize not a problem

    help pl0x <3

  • @LUCKKFC Asus Rampage II Extreme X58 - It can handle 3 VGA if u want. LGA1366 platform with Triple Channel + 6 core Intel CPU. Go with 2 Asus Matrix HD5870 Platinum 2Gb GDDR5, or 2 NVIDIA GTX 480 if u want

  • Really nice board coulor and placement and the dual evps12v is really really sweet allthough I am still looking for power supply with dual 8 pin connectors and no luck. Small correction: slot 1 and slot 3 are for dual SLI slot 2 is actually for physx. Nothing major, the black dual SLI bridge looks sexy as well. nice review and this helped me to purchase this board which is middle class for P55 series, good job. Doubt those emo kids have any use for those e-sata's LOL

  • lol black for the emo kids

  • im getting this board, its gona rape

  • ok great now we have a board for emo kids!

  • "For the emo kids"

hahaha that made me chuckle i didnt expect it =p

    hey...wait a minute...kids? dont you mean people? =p haha

  • Im drooling

  • i might consider buying this, i can finally replace my q6600

  • I'll stick with the Giga my nigga and save me some presidents

    Nice board though!

  • I like how you think B.

  • ???? ???? ???? ???? ????

  • "For the emo kids"

    hahaha

  • If you have the money to afford EVGA products thumb me up lol. They are the best though.

  • im getting sick of all these fuckin motherboards all them over clock the fuckin same. they claim this does that n this n this n that wtfffff

  • Nice video.

  • why would you need a dual Ethernet?

  • Some how, which i don't know how to, you can set them for outward and inbound connections and run certain ports. This could possible reduce your ping( possible lag if high) in gamming:)... i think!

  • if you connect both cards to the same network, you can use windows to bridge the two connections. it will increase throughput but will also slightly increase cpu load and latency

  • read from back to front

  • "this is for the emo-kids" lol!!!

  • another EVGA mobo :-/

Don't you guys sell giga-byte, asus, msi, dfi,...? or just evga?

  • Damn turn up the volume when editing!

  • 4:25 lol

  • whats up with XFX these days? i havnt seen anything from them in a while. i want to see their awesome boards again. especially now when im going to upgrade my system.

  • tiger direct was getting to many RMA's with XFX boards, so they decided not to review them anymore. EVGA > XFX

    XFX isnt the best company...

  • I buy XFX Video cards

and guess what they been running great for over a year now

    no trouble

Never had any trouble with XFX motherboard

but i buy my stuff from newegg

But a Friend bought EVGA Video card

and they had nothing but trouble

  • did your friend consider that maybe the issue isn't with EVGA's products, but in fact possibly voltage instability, and fluctuations coming from the wall, and that if he got a UPS, (dont mean PSU, not a typo) his issues might be solved.

EVGA cover more than XFX does, for example if you power supply explodes, and fries your EVGA video card, they will replace it, whereas with XFX they say specifically that they don't cover damage from external sources, or power issues.

  • ye ofc they are not the best but i havnt seen one of those cool black/green motherboards in a while.

  • P55 for the $hit

  • meh, if you're spending that much money on high-end P55, you might as well go with mid-range X58

  • @oXoAeternooXo x58 didnt exist then...

  • @omfgg3tlost wtf are you on about? X58 was from 2008, P55 late 2009...

  • Pretty nice motherboard

  • Nice! :)
