Man I can only imagine how hard it must have been for blacks in those days, even after slavery was abolished. Props for the Globetrotters for pushing through that and succeeding.

My grandfather played for the globetrotters. :) He replaced Goose Tatum when Goose was drafted into the war...I loved trying to get the ball from him and playing basketball with him when I was little...
