and as far as everyone putting it down or saying your gonna mexican rig it... please dont build your ego up anymore there are things in this world that do work and stop you weak-asses who would rather steal something than pay for it from getting it. And yeah they were back on the older cars...Euro to be exact. I have alot of mechanical knowledge in my back ground of building cars and Ive tried to look at these things in a 360 degree fashion, for some kind of fault. But I havent found one yet.
Sweet z32 I have 4 of them... I know that interior anywhere I have one of these on all my z32's and my jeep wrangler for when i run with the doors off! I have had someone try and steal my jeep in a local grocery store parking lot I came back to a rats nest of cut wires and a screw driver sticking out of my ignition cylinder and they still couldn't start it! I've just ordered another one for my 2001 Ford Powerstroke. Buy one you wont ever loose sleep at night anymore, worrying over your car.
I've got a better killswitch,it's called the mexican kill switch, just open the ign and with a screw driver touch the positive on the starter to the solenoid.LOL
Sounds like you just reverse your key on AC mode while your door is opened. The beep comes on because one of your doors is opened. Then you click random numbers on the pad. Then turn your keys again to start the car. I'd trust you if you showed fullscreen from your door to the number pad.
even if you yank out the wires, the starter will still be disabled and would take about an 2 hours to figure it out with tools and a volt meter and some knowledge of course. In other words, no theif would be able to hotwire your car unless they tow it to a mechanic and pay him to figure it out
The actual relay is probably built back into the center console a bit, if you rip out the keypad and cut the wires, you won't be able to activate the relay. But then you could probably just hotwire the keypad wires.

i think that they can still turn it on if they push it and your car is standard.
