It happened to the Call of Duty and then the Medal of Honor series too. The developers of Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 really hit rock bottom with that joke of a game. Seriously, who the hell would buy into that lame, Americanized, pea-brain trash? NOT ME!!! They're obviously scrapping the barrel for new ideas.

call of duty world at war and brothers in arms hell's highway are very similar it has the gore system but only differences is that one can blow your heads off and the other can blow off your legs and arms and burn you to death but i love both of the game

@BlackTurtle82 Each Call of Duty game and Brothers in Arms are both 100% scripted. I've probably had more replays on each game and enemies are always in the same spot and hardly ever maneuver. Not saying that it's bad, but the final Brothers in Arms went for a more "rambo" friendly game with tank sequences and solo play and scrapped "this" version which got most of the hype in 2006. Call of Duty, at least talking about 4 and before are action shooters and they do it well.

Look, you can hide in cover when you get shot, and your wounds heal, just like in a real war.

When you move your troops forward, they see a nice blue circle on the floor, just like in a real war.

Lets not get into how it looks like a cartoon, and the stupid physics, that are so overblown its not even funny.

The original BIA games were much better. Still nothing like realism (games can NOT do that, at all), but much better.

And this game even turns you into a 1 man army in at least 3 missions

Definitely my fav game but I hate how the the M1A1 Thompson sounds like an air soft gun.

When the Germans shoot the MG42 seems like the ammo belt runs forever! and the ammo belt doesn't even move it just shakes!

On certain missions the Germans just stand there like nothing is going on! whats up with that?

I hope they fix these problems for Bastogne!

The idea that they tried to incorporate into the game is good, but their graphix are no where near close to CoD or even MoH. The people dont even look realistic when they get sent flying by a bazooka lol. They overdid the ragdoll effect. Game still looks cool though :)

one f the greatest story driven games i have played it is almost like band of brothers the video game. it actually has twists and shock moments which happen to characters you care about, and on top of that a realistic game mechanic based on flanking and suppression fire, very original title it looks like the creators read books for research rather than watched a lot of popular movies.

The game's AI is terrible, the M1 garand is not loadable unless the clip has been emptied, you can walk out in the open and a machine gun's bullets will appear to be hitting you, but you take literally no damage at all, and sometimes the squad will move out of cover and die(irritating). It's very unrealistic, but I still love it.
