  • Tata trev!

    Nice one Siri!!

  • love it love it love it go you mighty spurs

  • i Have noticed how many players in the old days could use both feet. Nowadays very few in the premier league can use both feet.

  • ROFL......Memories. Got this on 7" when it first came out. I went to school at "St Pauls and all Hallows" junior school in Park Lane back in the mid seventies. On Wednesdays we used to bunk off to watch Spurs training. The ol' memories a bit foggy these days, but i do remember having to crawl around the seats to avoid Miss Foster (lovely lady) and Father Prentice (Hey!..i didn't choose to go to a church school!!) patrolling for truants.

  • @ThePatJennings

On a seperate note, I remember the church opposite going up in flames and all the kids were horrified because apparently Mr Pipkin had just been buried there. I could never watch Hartley Hare after that, without a tear in my eye!....Though even back then I thought that the monkey Topov, was an arrogant cunt....Much later i realized that with a name like that, he must've been a fecking commie

  • Spurs....you took our Alan Gilzean then John Duncan!

  • absolute legend rip cyril many a battle with lufc and billy bremner pity the game has gone soft

  • Great player if only i was related

  • Nice one........COYS

  • I love football. But footballers these days are a bunch of wankers.

  • were did that comment come from ?

  • i am just looking at the old footage, when men were men and football wasnt full of a bunch of ponces. I hope that answers your question

  • @ab1272 - yeah footballers nowadays are such cheating fairies. sure they all got fannies between their legs

  • when football was not driven by greed !

  • RIP cyril i met cyril once good bloke but sad he passed away :-(

  • I believe the term "Nice One Cyril" was coined at Margate in the FA Cup tie in January 1973.

  • I remember there was a TV ad for bread (something like mothers pride) at the time. Cut a long story, it ended with a baker called Cyril being crongatulated for his batch. Spurs fans picked it up and the rest is history.....As a schoolkid, I was allowed a free bus ride for singing it on the buses intercom. p.s. Cyril was a great Spurs player.

  • Thanks for correcting me Johnnie.

  • Cyril Knowles was a real class act and was hugely underated.England have not got a left back today that would be good enough to lace his boots.
