@rockingandrew Yahoo mail is horrible. It just seems to be the same thing from back in the 90s when people actually used Yahoo. GMAIL has a great interface and it just works a lot smoother. That's just my opinion.

@voop556 I just checked. I logged into the new Yahoo! Mail. Immediately, there was an animated ad on the right with simulated rain. It loaded slowly and was Flash. Then, I visited an email in my inbox. There was another larger animated ad to the right (also Flash) and an image ad to the left when I scrolled down a bit (it didn't appear to be animated, but it was mostly red.) To be fair, I logged into Gmail. No image ads. No animated ads. Only static text ads. My original comment stands.

When gmail was launched it was really worthy all the hype.

1 GB storage was fantastic back then and the simple design with no image ads made it really fast in those days when internet connections were much slower.

But nowadays i simply can't see the point in being a gmail fan, since ymail looks much better, is more organized and has unlimited storage capacity.

I switched to Gmail from Hotmail long ago because of the great amount of space you get in Gmail and because of the spam filter...

Gmail have 7,6 GB space but now Microsoft gave Hotmail 25 GB...

Wow what a great waste of space wonder if my inbox is 24 GB spam and 1 GB important messages...

In other words: Hotmail could have 150 GB but I would stick to Gmail because of the awsome spam filter!

@blapgat difficult? only 3 clicks to get there: click the top-right gear menu button, click "Mail help" from the menu, and in the next page, click "Suggest a Feature".

it's an awesome way to give feedback imo. there's a list of features you can quickly suggest by clicking a button without having to type a lot of stuff, and, if you want, a place at the bottom to suggest a new idea.
