Its hard to beleive that THIS is a port of a great classic. Its like sega said "HEY! You want a completely awesomesauce game thats even better than the original? THEN FUCK YOU AND GO TO HELL FAGGOTS LOLOLOLOLOLXDXDXDXDXDLOLOLOLXDXDXDXD"
Thank goodness they didn't make any ports of Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles or any of the S&K lock-ons. I couldn't imagine Sonic 3 with horrible MIDI files of the music.
What happened to the extra flowers at the end when you have all of the emeralds? I had beaten this on the Sega Genesis Collection for the PS2 and when you have all the emeralds, extra flowers showed up after the emeralds were activated. Nintendo screwed up the Special Zone after effects on the Super Mario World GBA port as well.
I think the only people who still like Sonic are small children and furries. All his appeal has otherwise died a grizzly and painful death. This "port" just doesn't fucking help. It's absolutely tragic.
I like(d?) sonic quite a bit, but I haven't touched a damn thing sonic related since the genesis games. It's safe to say the potential for another "Mario" was wasted on all the BS from the dreamcast and onward. Sega hasn't really kept anything on target since the failure of the dreamcast.
