when i have cyclical system wide lag it is usually because some program is continually eating more and more RAM, the RAM usage grows then when the chips are full the system will freeze for a moment while a bit of RAM gets paged, then the process repeats (the graphic for RAM usage has a sawtooth pattern)

my first impression on your fraps lagging is low harddisc space, you need ''LOOOT'' of it, since the less harddisc space you have, the bigger chance there is for the pc to need to find a new transfer location for the RAW .AVI file. since all files on your PC are spread in some sort of alphabetic order on your harddisc

As far as the lag goes, under the movies tab check your Video Capture Settings. I have a pretty low end comp but with the settings at 30fps/full screen, Fraps doesn't lag at all. See you in game Warg!

@evilerdenmayhem Yah I have it set at the same settings, it will be running fine and all and then all of the sudden it's like the pipes get clogged and it starts skippin and sittin at 5 fps.

There are still tons of people around from Phoenix Throne Warg. I was Naryane the IB, (Nargrum the IB on BL). I also have a SW named Aendhir in T3 I keep trying to spank your BO with. I canceled my sub though. But, I have a few lvl 10 destro on BL on trial and I'm subbing that ACC on the 30th and joining you guys.
