Paul Pierce is exhausted because he was working his ass off the entire series trying to fuel the Celtics offense, with only Ray Allen to really give him another good scoring option.

Play this many overtime games and then try to keep up with someone who doesn't have to move around nearly as much throughout the course of a game, in this case Noah, and you'll get burnt as well.

Age is also clearly a factor, seeing as Noah is 11 years younger than Paul Pierce. Give Pierce credit for trying.
