Stop discrediting things you dont know or cant explain. This is God work and will that works thru Bonke for the job he is doing for Christ! Stop calling him a false prophet, where is your faith everyone!? You dont know his heart either, for God knows his heart and from what it seems he loves the Lord and lives for him. Leave it to God to judge him for if it is from God nothing can stop him. The things you all say are exactly the same things said to Jesus and the Apostles by the Pharisees!
It's just simply amazing what God is doing in Africa through Reinhard Bonnke. If only we could see similar results throughout the Middle East in our lifetime.
@MrLetzark Dein deutscher Kontrollgeist ist ja wieder mal sehr auferbauend! Du spielst hier Gott und ich hoere nichts als Vorurteil und Neid. Was sollen denn die rethorischen Fragen? Hast Du schon mal Tote auferweckt, Kranke geheilt, Daemonen ausgetrieben? Bonnke is ein kompromissloser Prediger des Evangeliums!
A word of caution to all christians out there. This spirit that is sweeping across the land, is a false spirit, that the Bible have warned against. He, the devil, will decieve all the world with his sorcery, and people will think they serve God by killing other men and women, who are the truly christians. We should all do what God tells us, Revelation 14:12, the Saints are those that Keep the Commandments of God. In this is truth and love do the will of God. (1 john)
And what was the last commandment that the Lord Jesus gave on earth. "Go out and preach the gosple, and these sign shall follow those who belive..." You should look into your heart and ask your self, are you living by the commandment of jesus, how many have you prayed with to salvation,or healed in the name of Jesus. have you thrown out demons and taking care of newbelivers baptising them in water and praying with them to baptising in The Holy Spirit. given him new clothes and food and a bible..
Sir: I am only concerned with the message, is it according to the Bible? Many false teachers is to come in the last days. Does this man teach that we should be obediant to the commandments of God? That we should walk as Christ walked? To do the will of our Father in heaven? Doing great feats, as healing the sick and so on, is not a guaranty that it is from God. The devil can aswell perform great deeds, pretending to be God. This is what the Bible teach, and this is what I urge, caution.
my friend ther will be false teachers but this man is not one of them for this simple fact this man has led more peopel to christ then any other in history now that is the last think the devil wonts is peopel being saved
Al: It is true that it is important to lead people to Christ, I agree with all my heart. Does Reinhart teach Sanctification? Purification? Justification? Does he teach that we should obey and do what our Lord tells us, including the keeping of the commandments, that is the heart of the Bible, to do the will of the Father? I do not mean to cause disturbance or to offend anyone, but look at the message that he is preaching. The christians, must be seperate from the world, we are not a part of it.
You said" Does Reinhart teach Sanctification? Purification? Justification? Does he teach that we should obey and do what our Lord tells us, including the keeping of the commandments, that is the heart of the Bible, to do the will of the Father?
The short answer to your question is YES. I've heard him in person teaching@a leaders conf. Yes he spoke about the importance of all of those things in leaders... Might I ask what church you are an active member of?
bhold: Im a Seventh day Adventist. Let me ask you this question then, how many of the new converts understands what is really going on, the great controversy between Christ and the devil. That understand what is at stake, and who themselves goes out and does the same? How many of them is it that keep the first day holy over Gods direct command, that focus explicit on the single gift of the spirit? All Im trying to do is to get my brothers and sisters to think and to discern truth.
the question you asked is "do the new converts understand what is really going on?" Well I'm sure as a new convert you didn't understand the struggle between good and evil except that you knew what wasn't good and what you were doing prior to conversion was evil. That's why the church is in place to teach the true meaning. Technically Bonnkke is an evangelist, but he is also an apostle in that he establishes churches where he has preached. Those established churches do also evangelize.
the other question you asked relates to a doctrinal issue which is " do they keep the 1st day holy as God commanded..." Don't you realize that exactly what you asked me is the only reasonable evidence or proof the pharisees had to crucify Jesus?! Keeping the Sabbath day as a "direct command of God" is the only thing that propelled Jesus to his destiny. God says that His grace is sufficient... he admonishes us not to be hung up on the Law, but rather to embrace our fellow man, sabbath or not...
bhold: The reason Jesus was crucified was not because He kept the Sabbath, Jesus did not break it as you are aware. The 7th day is the Sabbath not the 1st day. Jesus was crucified because of evil men who were not converted to Christ. Now if we have anyone teaching that we should not keep the commandments of Christ or that its not as important, or that we can modify the commandments to our liking, then Im put on alert. I do not judge anyone, but I believe these people are in error.
Doesn't a person have to accept Christ first before he can follow his commandments? Showing people the healing power of God brings them to acept Christ which is the first and most important step. And by the way, this man healed me so pls be very slow to speal against a man of God.
Sweete: What I believe is that we should be on guard for in this world are many spirits, we also know according to scripture, that majority of christians who profess Christ and believe they follow Him and does His will are lost. (Mt 7:21-) We also know that the devil can and is the cause of all disease in this world. Is it then not plausible that the devil can remove what he causes? And that he also may use well believing Christians? I have nothing against people, but Im just concerned.
Uhm, how can you be so sure he lead soo many people to Christ? Jesus said the way is narrow, not only the gate. And many who even professed to him "Lord Lord" will go to hell. Salvation is not an easy thing, that's why many who think of them as saved will be surprised on Judgement Day. Also Jesus warns about those who always wanna see miracles.
So what is your point? This man healed me. so, i ask again what is your point? So are you saying he should stop trying to win souls because salvation is not an easy thing? Pls explain
@Markks100 I do not condemn him, I simply say he is not a true teacher. I have seen his healing ministry and it is not good. You do what you want but we should pray for him and for all teachers out there that they are not deceived.
Ask yourself, does the preacher live the gospel as well as preach it? Does he promote Jesus, does he promote a simple life style, does he promote obedience to God?
We are not saved by works, so I do not boast in them.
The religios spirit is dangerous hates people braking tradition, binding people from doing the work jesus have called all christians to do.. actually go out and preach to all nations, all etnos. God bless CFAN and reinhard bonnke. for the unreached peoples to be saved.
LOL, an excellent point! I'm so frustrated with churches that follow the latest sociological or humanistic fad, wrapped up in their own ideas instead of obeying Jesus! Good ole Bonnke!
I went to the 2005 Hillsong Conference and Reinhard Bonnke was one of the guest speakers... and MAN... the way he shares the word is amazing. He's a very annointed speaker.
A sea of people. I hear Bonke babbling in tongues falsely called so. Jesus drew massive crowds too, but he never seen that as a sign of success. He died a lonely criminals death outside Jerusalem. And personally trained up just 12 men. Doesn't sound like much of a successful life does it? Yet God's ways are not our ways. People see these huge crowds and think Binke must be annointed. That may not be the case.
Thanks for your insightful comment. Jesus' success was not in the number of people that came to Him, but rahter, In the depth to which He was able to touch them. This video is and example of salvation by emotional involvment. It is not through emotionalism that we are save, but through peace and long-suffering mercy. I question the validity of this man's "preaching."
In my opinion, it was a spectacle of emotion. What was being said didn't seem to be of much importance to those that were there. Whether truth was being told wasn't really important, as long as the emotions were kept high.
This is NOT from God!
