It very well could make that noise. Noise is caused by vibration, and either the impact made the bullet vibrate, or the bullet was traveling just right to make the air whistle.

When he shot the shell hit the floor (circle of dust clods up) then he hits the target but because the bullet couldn't penetrate the hard target he was shooting at it bounced back straight because of the power of the gun it came back near enough bang on to where it was fired from. A similar thing happened to me with a .44 magnum. My sister-in-law wanted to shoot mine and check bullet penetration. She shot an old car and apparently hit the frame. She was about 10 feet to my left, next to their car. The bullet came almost straight back, about a foot to my right and put a big dent in the quarter panel. It hit the peak of the body panel where it is stronger so it didn't penetrate all the way, but it would have been a bad gut shot for me.

@thuckz If I remember correctly, what happened was that they were shooting the rifle at a metal (It was either too thick to penetrate or at an angle) target and the bullet went back in a ricochet and nailed his noise-canceling earphones. Basically a two-million-to-one event (a million-to-one that it came back, and a million-to-one it did not drill through his forehead).

As you can see, the bullet's velocity after ricochet was significantly lower than muzzle velocity, which explains why it hit the ground
