I'm aware of the huge difference in population between Newark and other major cities, but it would be nice to see initiatives like this being adopted in places like Chicago and Washington, DC

I just met the one who first organized this yesterday, as my family and other people who love this city, were feeding our brothers/sisters who are still in need on Thanksgiving.  It is a caravan of Newark residents and whomever else that wants. Driving around this city in the roughest parts of our city where violence is rampant, and with our presence and prayers, patroling the areas --taking our city back. One resident at a time. God be the Glory!!!

As someone from Philly who worked in Newark for many years, I gotta say this is the way every city should be run.

Jersey, and every state for that matter, needs more leaders willing to put in some actual time to improve their home towns.

I look forward to signing up.
