@iPAWNYouFerrrReal To me, it sounds like someone was going through a hard time, and weren't themselves, but had a great friend that helped get them through it. Especially the "I fell off the tight rope and into the fires" part.
But the great thing about music is, everything can have it's own meaning to different people.

When he says, "You followed me down in the darkness of me and You brought me out of it." Not trying to sound religious or preach-y. So don't take it offensive or anything.
