Reading the manga I always imagined the voices to be so much better. Only the skull knight was good (though I always imaged his voice to be more metallic), the rest just felt out of place.

Especially Slan and Guts did not sound appropriatly epic. Guts sounds like a normal guy with a weaksauce scream. And Slan also sounds.. normal, which is just plain wrong.

The excruciatingly annoying high-pitched screams so typical of japanese voice actresses didn't help Farneze either. Isidoro was okay.

That was the whole point, really. They don't sound epic because Guts is a normal person. A normal human being that grows in power as the series and story progresses. Yes, he is essentially above-average for a human, but he is still human, and still, for all intents and purposes, 'normal' in many senses. He has never needed to sound epic.

in the game, when she grabs you, she kisses you hard, then Gastu seems kinda stunned, perhaps by the stench, then, she forces his head between her legs, then, if you don't counter with the cannon, she sits on the ground and gatsu fall the face in her crotch again, thus explaning how exactly they got in this position in the anime. Then tentacles (intestines) grab gatsu and throw him away.
