This is the only time I've ever seen the National Anthem on a Global sign-off. I saw them go OTA in 2006 but it was just a cut to test pattern, from 4:00 AM-5:30 AM
@ccchamoxa I remember that too!! I couldn't remember for the life of me what it was called and had to look it up. The series if you can really call it a series was called Night Moves/Night Walk/Night Music which ran from 86 to 93..
For the last two minutes of the video? Maybe so. I'm intrigued by old film but I'm certainly not the most educated in the field of, so you're most likely correct.

Ah, so I guess I -was- mistaken. Thanks for the insight. Gives me something else to research and possibly start working with, myself. :)

Is it me, or is that the Hartland covered bridge in New Brunswick at 1:17?
Didn't think they meant *that* far east...

You're right... it is the Hartland bridge! My first thought was the Marchand Bridge in Fort Coulonge, Quebec (near Pembroke, Ont.)

They never bothered to update the signoff to include the four transmitters in Northern Ontario, which started in December 1992
