Goa trance originated in Goa, and not exclusively by israeli artists. There were also belgian, UK, german and US artists. Today, israel is full of commercial trance which sounds even worse than tiesto, and true psy trance music scene exists in almost every european country, and also in Australia, South America, Africa, North America, so I don't see the point of marking psy trance as a property of a single country like you did. Trance is beyond borders and politics ;)

My point is that music is beyond borders and politics, and you can't mark one music genre like "israeli" just because that country makes sound samples for this specific style. Artists are those who make music, not sound engineering companies and such. Since I'm an artist too, I'll tell you that I usually make my own samples from various sounds that I collect in nature, or from movies/video games and many other sources on TV or Internet. Not all of them are from Israel or from USA etc...

Some sound engineering studios produce basic samples for artists, and those samples are just tools. If you don't know how to use them, those tools are junk. So, if Israel produces some samples for the market, it doesn't mean that their tools mark whole movement as "israeli", because trance isn't just music and entertainment, it's a way of life and in a way it's a philosophy. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

if anyone says on the internet that goa is from israel then theyre talking shit dude, goa is from goa, and a lot of israelis went there after the army so they naturally picked it up and took it home with them...but then again so did lots of people from lots of other places around the world. also, while it was israeli goa that got me into it (astral projection), most of the goa i listen to now is not from israel (ie suntrip records etc), belgium seems to be the place for goa these days
