i know these cars are fast with v8's. but i really wish people could find a different car to swap v8's in. every other person that owns a Z turn to shitty chevy 350's or the ls1(which isn't shitty by any means). It's the easy route to making big power but doesn't impress me at all. BUILD THAT INLINE!!
well i just have bone stock ls1 with headers n single exhuast . thinking about 100shot . i only wanna run high 10 to low 11 . that is my goal with this car . n it on stock suspension , r200 diff dont know the gearing
Suspension is just some 175lb. springs in the front, and 125lb. in the rear. Eibach struts. Has all the bushings replaced with the poly stuff. With the exact same set up that I've got in this video, I ran a 10.9@124 in the 1/4 mile. Probably could have run a 10.8 - 10.7 with me earlier setup.
I think on these runs, I had an MS3 cam, Fast 92mm intake and 92mm throttle body, ported 5.3 heads with biggie valves ect., Shorty headers, and a Dual 3" exhaust with an Xpipe. Short block is 100% stock.
Before these runs, I had a single 3.5" exhaust, a toruer V2 cam, and stock LS6 heads. ran 7.0 @ 102 Seems the car ran much harder on the more basic setup.

Tire is a Mickey Thompson ET drag 26 x 8.5 on a 15" wheel. Its just a stock 240Z wheel, I think its 7.5" wide, and its got a zero offset.

If I recall, my best E/T of the night was 7.1X and best trap was 98.X Best I have ever trapped N/A is 102 and best E/T N/A is 7.00
