To 18wheeler---I live on the east coast, the coast of Georgia to be exact. The Spanish were here as early as 1540 and the English around the 1730's..I use a Garrett....But there are many good ones out there..what ever you do get..the secret is to USE it!

wow,wow,wow,nice stuff,do you live in canada.you must live in a part with alot alot of history so somewhere on the east coast.i live in western ny,and i have never seen anyone metal detect.but soon everyoine will be seeing me.any particular places the best.(parks,beach)?.any metal detector that you perfer.i subed if you want to return the favor.

Yes...The Spanish and the English settled and explored this area on the coast. These are not that uncommon here.

I have been at this hobby since 1980..I bought my first Garrett then...So even though I have a lot of oldies, it has taken a while to find them. Thanks for posting.
