  • 5:07 is very reminiscent of John Belushi!

  • 2 weird guys (Newman & Kramer)... but they´re geniuses...

  • I was in the middle of a game of Parcheesi with an old blind man...classic!

  • yoyoma

  • I love the way that Newman says "banker"

  • hahaha oh my

  • maybe the funniest 5:46 on tv,,,pure Gleason and Carney

  • 3 people tried to kill themselves because they never had an air conditioner.

  • 4:57 - 5:46 is my favorite part! XD

  • "Then he threw himself on the ground, then grabbed me around the legs and begged me to let him go." LOL!! I wish they showed that scene in this episode

  • what ep and season was this?

  • @manu5671 Season 4, The Ticket.

  • @db44gs i did end up finding out shortly after i typed the question, but thank you anyway :)

  • @manu5671 oh ok haha, no problem man

  • All this just so Newman can save 75 bucks.

  • "Remember the banking!!?? The bankingbankingbankingbanking!!??" HAHAHA

  • @TheVenturino123 hahahaha my favorite part too.

  • He wanted nothing more out of life than to love, to be loved, and to be a banker! Lmao! Amazing

  • The Judge getting hit at 5:43 had me in stitches :D

  • What a fantastic perfomance from everyone. Newman's hysteria and rhetoric and Kramers's sudden state of forgetfulness and blank expression at the key moment. The judge is perfect. Patient but under no illusions.

  • Newman: "Your honor, Mr. Kramer is obviously very distraught...." 8/

    Kramer: "Oh I'M DISTRAUGHT?" >80

    Newman: "YOU SHUT UP!" >:O

    Kramer: "AWHOOHOOHOOHOOHOO!" -_-

  • cant stop watching this haha

  • i was thinking of this today when i had court hahaha

  • seinfeld was an amazing series i would always try to watch it when it came out on tv

  • Kramer and Newman should have their own spinoff show where every episode they try and invent new schemes.

  • I thought I watched all of the Sienfeld episodes, but I don't recall this one.

  • @BoyToob yeah i can't recall this either

  • all this just to avoid a $300 fine?

  • @dicekpapi18 $300 ain't little especially when dollar worthed more in past than now

  • @snuhr The judge said it was $75 dollars...

  • @dicekpapi18 that was only ten years ago, and i'm talking about the equivalent today.

  • lol only...

10 years ago dollar worth twice if not 2.5 of what is today

and even today I'd rather avoid to pay 300 $ if I could

  • @snuhr yehh sucked in. say thankyou to your corrupt politicians who are devaluing your dollar :P

  • @SerotoninRush ...and stimulating the economy by putting more money into circulation. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

  • @snuhr you're just plain wrong, TWENTY years ago $300 would buy you as much as $490 would buy you today. based off CPI calculations from 1990-2010, this is a 63% increase in relative dollar cost not a 200-250% as you claim. it is also important to consider that average incomes increased during this period along with prices

  • @TheAcehd

ok I'm wrong, fact is it was better than it ever will be

  • @dicekpapi18 this episode's well over ten years old

  • @dicekpapi18 It wasn't 10 it was almost 20 years ago. Seinfeld started in 1989, and this was earlier on in the series

  • @dicekpapi18 I got news for ya buddy, and I can't believe this either: this episode is 20 years old, not 10. How it still holds up so well is just a testament to how amazing this show is.

  • @dicekpapi18 It was $75

  • @dicekpapi18 It's Seinfeld. It's just fitting.

  • @dicekpapi18 actually the judge says $75 so that's even worse :P

  • The best Kramer/Newman scene outside of Kramer canceling his mail.

  • REMEMBER THE BANKING?!! THE BANKING, ABOUT THE BANKING, ABOUT THE BANKING!!!

  • I admit I got confused as to why Kramer forgot the story at the end (though I was still laughing). Turns out Kramer had lost his short-term memory in this episode after being kicked in the head by Crazy Joe Davola. The more you know...

  • I hate canned laughter.

  • @TheBestPrevail This ain't canned, this is real laughter from a real audience.

  • Newman and Kramer should have had their own spin-off buddy film.

  • a phonecall?

  • @Cousigreeno YES, A PHONECALL!!! :)

  • The conviction with which Kramer answers at 3:48 kills me! Newman's working up this whole case based on how distraught Kramer was, and his answer is a curt "Uh yeah"!!!

  • 1 person never became a banker

  • Okay, we'll go with the banker story

  • "That will be 75 dollars."

  • What an epic performance by Wayne Knight!!!

  • @tmeloe sure is

wish he got more roles in some popular movies like did

in Jurassic Park and Basic Instict

  • How interesting would it have been if Seinfeld would have chosen Sep 11, instead of Sep 10....

  • @mcb0613 Then I am sure the Illuminati nuts would be screaming that "it's all part of the plan!"

  • @Kravis63 theres nothing wrong in conspiracy theories

everybody chooses in what to believe

  • @snuhr I guess that means what you mean by "wrong". I guess there is nothing wrong with people believing in faeries and unicorns if that is what the choose to believe. However, I beleive it is important to have justified true belief supported by actual evidence, not here say and speculation.

  • pretty much stuff today is hear-say, what is known as proof(s) can be fabricated

why do you think educated people always recommend others not to watch tv/news and to stay away from it

there are so many powerful people - and now I am not talking specific for Illuminati connection but in general,

from Bankers who in reality DO control countries, Oil industry owners (Bush and his son is best example),

the drug controling chain, people so rich that control infact what will be told/shown to masses

  • @snuhr I never denied any of that.

  • I am a judge and I would never buy such nonsense like that!

  • I can't believe Wayne Knight never won an Emmy. Biggest snub ever

  • 1 person was never able to become a banker

  • I loved Newman in Jurassic Park ...ah ah ah you didnt say the magic word

  • @InHomeGuitarLessons

ahh yes, he was great character there too

tho I always wished they did more of him there

"here fetch a stick... no wonder you're instinct" hehehe

  • I love the "isn't THAT true?!" The little downward fist pump Newman does is sheer brilliance. He's so into it, at that point he probably believes his own bullshit.

  • Then he became very loud and hysterical. He was flailing his arms about as he told the story and then he threw himself on the ground.....

  • LMAO. I love how the judge reacts to all of that.

  • the best performance of wayne knight in seinfeld series....

  • i'm distraught!!!?? lol

  • Micheal Richards/Kramer must've been sick that day, cause he isn't doing any of his Crazy acts.

  • playing a game of parcheesi with an old blind man. Must be an easy win for our postman

  • I love how the cop describes Newman's hysterical breakdown. Obviously, the cop didn't know that he was meant to yell NEWMAN! to get him to stop, lol.

  • the one dislike was from the blind man newman bailed on

  • look how kramer falls back with his arms out, so funny

then how the flag hits the judge, so perfect

  • One person doesn't have an air conditioner.

  • YOYOYOMAMA!

  • I'M DISTRAUGHT?!!!?

absolutely too funny this writing is pure brilliance

  • hahah crazy ass newman

  • That'll be 75 dollars

  • You you you you can't LIVE without being an BANKER

  • Newman is great !!!

  • omg. this is so funny.

  • "WHY, WHY DID YOU FAIL??!"

  • @pehash "I don't know"

  • holy #$@% this is hilarious!

  • I'm currently trying to sleep in a really hot room

  • Eh, Yo-Yo Ma!

  • "Yes, a PHONE CALL"

  • "I never had an air conditioner"

  • newman..my favorite character lol

  • 4:48 to 5:22 is the funniest part lmao!

  • @princev11 I was rolling at that part!!

  • HAHAHAHA when he puts kramer up there newman looks like a big fat atticus finch

  • I like the way Newman says "banker". Haha

  • laughed with tears at this. newman is priceless.

  • @ady234 me too my stomach hurts so bad from laughing!

  • "An innocent person who wanted nothing more out of life than to love, to be loved, and to be a banker!"

  • 5:09 hahaahahahahahahhahah

  • All this just so Newman can save $75. Haha!

  • Newman Rules!!!

  • A banker :D

  • Kramer was so funny. It's too bad he threw his carrer away the way he did

  • newman at his best lol!!

  • classic .

  • My favorite scene ever

  • classic

  • I distinctly recall him saying...

    Yo-Yo Ma!

  • A brilliant performance by Newman, my favourite character in Seinfeld (obvious for the same reason that Mr. Burns is my favourite character in the Simpsons)...

  • Classic comedy television

  • I'm watching this episode right now :) it's funny how the post office makes him lose his composure.

  • i find it quite funny that Newman is always proud to be Mailman, but when it rains he doesn't work, even with their slogan "Neither snow, nor rain..."

    its hilarious

  • @snuhr In addition, is Kramer like the only friend Newman has in the world?

  • @ChrisC11291980

the series doesn't show anybody else socialising close with Newman other than Kramer

but they do show that he is hanging out with some of people he works with in Postal service

and also there was 1 episode showing his birthday with some people but I also think they were from his job

  • @snuhr Don't get me wrong they play well off each other but Newman doesn't seem to have any other friends outside of the post office.

  • @ChrisC11291980

    yep, thats true :)

  • @snuhr do u know why the crowd reacted when the flag hit the judge?

  • @MrBlueBerry4201 nope :P

  • @ChrisC11291980 probably the only one he has that we know of, and actually see, except we hear about bob sacamano, who is never seen

  • @TheTvGuru3

    Lomez too :P

  • i love when those two make up ideas

like with the bottle deposit or the dog

or with the vest guy :)

  • @snuhr

With a good writer, they could have had a a spin off

  • 5:10 is hilarous, when Newman is doing the stabbing motion and the sounds he makes are funny as hell..this Seinfeld scene is a classic

  • lol, I couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw that!! His face gets so red! haha

  • "Your Honor, Mr. Kramer is obviously very distraught..."

    "I'M distraught?"

    "YOU SHUT UP!"

  • you'd think it was a murder charge. All over $75. Brilliant! Love the way he shouts ' What's the matter with you, ya jerk? We had it all worked out!', thereby admitting his guilt.

  • @domparis1978 in real life, the charge is greater because your insurance goes up

  • Newman should have his own show for this performance!

  • 4:58 LMAO love his reaction

  • I go through there every Tuesday.. I do charity work for the blind

i was in the middle of a game of parcheesi with an old blind man

  • as usual this clip is copyrighted by Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David and whatever company(es) were involved shooting it :P
