You really do lean towards the dark side. Bardon made sure to emphasize all the good uses a hermetic paintings could be used for - an aspect that you have ignored here. Also, don't overlook the fact that most animated paintings (and dolls) were created unknowingly and aren't likely to kill you- although they may be vampiric. happy to see your continuing with videos. As a musician I'd like to know what is in store for us intersted in attempting to use it along with magic. Currently I feel that its mostly just understanding what to compose/play to influence a person or thing. i.e to make someone happy play something upbeat. On the deeper side i suppose you can use your feelings about a particular subject' and compose music to that, and then add in the feelings/thoughts of how you want it to turn out, ect...
My idea is from using what IiH says about eating food or drinking water, inwhich you impregnate it with success, health, ect... So rather that you actually consuming that through your mouth. lol. you take it in from your ears. I believe the principle is the same on self-help/development. On the much more advanced side I suppose you can use music to summon a spirit as well, among many other things. Oh, I do mean this from playing a instrument at the time, but I'm sure a recording works as well.
In fact on the Taoist practice of the East there is the knowledge that "we are what we eat"...but here we also eat perceptions: music, poetry, prayer...and also to the dark: inappropriate language, nonsensical words, noise, etc...We integrate to our psyches what we offer to them through our senses just as we integrate to our bodies what we eat and drink....In general the Hermetics stress the relationship between mind and physical action. Ever wonder why grandma´s Fruitcake tasted so good? ;-)
I agree that there is an "hypnotic" use of music as you could, through playing certain beats and rhythms, conduct or induce emotions and also memories....but also remember the hermetic principle of vibration: as all vibrates, all things have their corresponding "natural tone" so you can elicit change through that frequency or its harmonics (also could produce interference or other acoustic phenomena with the right frequencies).
Remember also that music is a form of expression...so as we could use magic words..we could also use magical songs (ask the navajo...or for that matter the Huichol people of my country ;-))
