Probably Neo Cortex owns Cortex Castle and Skull rock. Because in Skull Rock, you can see a large boulder carving of his face and the "N."

when you think about THIS theme here is remixed depending on the battle area. in the coco battle area its remixed to match her level personality like the castle arena is remixed to match the castle territory. It's all about where its being held at.

Yes they are, but like I said, they have different tones and notes, etc... in some parts,a nd IIRC, the one in citadel city had an extra riff or something that sounded a bit like the one in cortex castle song.
