It was the demo version, the first 1,000 people that signed up for it gets it, and in the demo you have all 7 characters already for the first dungeon.
I like the battle system a whole lot better this time. It's simple compared to the last two episodes, since you don't really have to remember all the combos. It's not so complex as the others. Though, the single attack isn't how I expected it, but the combos already in set are enjoyable. Plus you have enough EP to last you through the dungeon when there is about 2 to 3 save points throughout the dungeon to restore it back to normal. Very good upgrade compared to the other games.
what the hell?! most of the characters in xenosaga two looked messed up... ESPECIALLY kosmos and momo! this one looks cool though. but it also looks too easy. it should be harder, like the first one.

I agree with SnCMorgue i played the first xenosaga because the battle system was incrediblely fun practical and quick ending battles i bought the second game and i got to say whata pice of crap otside the good storyline impacting graphics cg and reference to paul macartney by albedo->>
I like how they applied Scenes to Battle commands like when KOS-MOS used G-SHOT on T-Elos (Or maybe T'Elos) during a scene and it did the whole battle transition. I hope this comes to America soon.
