  • Cadborosaurus. Check the Kelly Nash video from over the hill. Same critter.

  • How in the world did I get here from Final Fantasy 4

  • BC Fisheries have determined that there are no Sturgeon in Okanagan Lake. There are no reports of anyone catching one either. The biggest fish known to live there is the Kokanee Salmon at 18 inches average.

  • could be a group of sturgeon, you can see movement that isn't just a wave but it seems like a cluster of fish swarming in one direction.

  • Guys... Its just jesus leave him alone please.

  • Humans haven't even discovered all there is to know about the creatures out there. There's always a possibility that these creatures are, or maybe were, real. Maybe humans in the past scared them so much that they fear us. Who knows. Keep an open mind, you never know what's going to be discovered tomorrow.

  • Looks like a reflection of a jet passing over to me

  • @rodshockin Yep. That is what I was gonna say

  • Idk what to think anymore. I'm Aussie, and never seen sightings, but i've always tried to believe, especially in the Loch Ness Monster. But i mean... Ogopogo, Nessie, the lake Champlain monster... 3 different supposed sea serpents or prehistoric dinosaurs and not one real video that shows proof of it existing. I honestly don't know what to think anymore. U'd think if they did exist that by now someone would have got a video of it poking it's head up out of the water or something...

  • Easy commentors, : i am from Penticton, and between Naramatta , n Summerland up to Peachland, this kind of sighting has happened many times. month after month, and always reported as a skier, or small boat, i have seen the same outline, like 5 or 6 times. i am a skeptic, but it happens so often, i think there are lake sturgon, or large carp that come to surface, mating, or schooling, there has to be a reasonable answer.

  • its the way the suns reflecting off the ice!!! GET UR FACTS STRAIGHT!!!

  • with all the herb and schrooms in bc do u really think this province would not have a mythical creature. I mean they probably shit in there bath water and say holly shit i found a mini Ogopogo!!!!! fuckin stoners always amuse me

  • The water is as still as can be yet you can clearly see the creature undulating right under the surface. Amazing video.

  • How about everybody shutting TFU and enjoying this gentleman's genuine video of the great Ogopogo ? If you don't believe in it maybe you should read some of the 100's of eyewitness reports or review the sonar contacts made.

  • @buguts34 yep

  • Congratulations, you just videotaped a guy riding a jet ski and having a great time while you wasted your time searching for an imaginary water monster...

  • @plitas Yeah I guy jet skiing at the end of Feb with ice all over the lake.

  • @plitas You can see the ice in the video genius.

  • @Roycodyyoung Wtf are you talking about? o.O

  • @plitas good joke nerd. i see no boat! you? than take your pills

  • @shivator Internet tough guy is tough... I would love to see if you had the balls to say that to my face, then you would be a man. I don't see a boat either... I see a JET SKI!

  • @plitas and your tough???

  • @SHARKREEF2011 Hell no, but I don't need to pretend I am by insulting people behind a computer screen like you did =) Have a good, sir

  • @plitas jee whiz plitas what mood swings u have.anyhow this is no big thing this topic,so no harm done.have a nice day also..:)

  • @plitas congragulations for your lifetime achievement in reTARDation.

  • looks like a jet ski to me

  • you can hardly see it

  • you can hardly see it

  • @buguts34 he would of been died before he even got the gun out (i would of killed him)

  • Cadborosaurus.

  • its most probably not unknown it actually looks just like an oarfish!!!!!

  • maybe its a reflection of a jet ?

or it could be the great chubbawalo fish they live in great populations in that particular lake. I spent 6 months there to find the great chubbawalo fish i was unsucessful. I remember looking into the creatures eyes and finding fear itself to be nothing more than two ping pong balls floating on the lake good luck with your quest ROYCODYYOUNG, Good luck young lady.

  • @buguts34 and people like you are the reason most of the animals are dead. Care more about money than anything else, or at least more about yourself than anything else. :(

  • this wasnt okanagan lake so cant be ogopogo

  • @madrid4life7 What the fuck are you on? This video was talking from the bluffs in Naramata look at a fucking map.

Seriously the fucking idiots on the internet these days.

@TheTysComedy Oh really tell us what it is then ? What have you discovered by fucking with the contrast ? Seriously brain dead kid.

  • @newschoolcynic u hav to take chill out, my anal little friend. Fags like u piss me off. Taking shit so seriously.

  • @TheTysComedy

Who gives a crap where you live and if you swim in that lake or not, thats not really a valid point, and Vernon is not as close to the lake as Kalowna is.... ugh. Anyway, I edited the contrast level by taking a snap shot of the video and taking that snapshot into GIMP and playing around with the settings.

Honestly, I have found the proof for myself, not for anyone else, I couldnt care less whether you believe it or not.

Anyway, I'd probably end up swimming there again. :P

  • @TheTysComedy Yes I lived in Vernon for about a year, I lived down in the landing near Okanagan Lake.

  • @TheTysComedy Buddy Okanagan Lake extends all the way from Vernon to Penticton. Get off of youtube young man and go play outside!!

  • or an oarfish

  • Whatever that is, dude, I think you got a very good video of something big swimming there. I don't believe in crap about some huge otter. That looked large and seemed to have an elongated body. Nice video. Ogo Pogo FTW.

  • Now that looks real too me O__O

  • maybe its some type of large eel or sea snake unknown to science.

  • To this day, this video still gives me the chills ! I love it, it's so interesting!

  • i love Kelowna :)

  • actually the ogopogo sighting is in Kelowna B.C

  • I live there in kelowna.

  • Now this video at least looks like something that is alive rather than waves, However, I believe that it is not a lake monster. Thank you though at least for not another video of bubbles, waves, or something even less substantial :-)

  • water! Amazing!!

  • Comment removed

  • DUDE

dude..... I just took a snapshot at around 0:14 edited the contrast levels to make things a bit clearer and sharpened the photo a little..... aaaand i almost pissed myself, i got goose bumps and I AM NEVER SWIMMING IN THAT LAKE AGAIN!! well either that or go in a paddle boat and get up and close n' take a few highdef snap shots. ;) just the whole shock of actually SEEING what is really is...

  • @hop1pop its not a boat, because boats form specific waves behind it, its not a plane reflection because there is no planes around, for it to form a reflection like that the plane would have to fly pretty damn close to the water... and you would be able to hear it. its not a log.... because logs arent wavy and they dont move THROUGH the water, they float along ontop...

  • @hop1pop I would love to see what you found. Can you reply with a link to a pic or something? I'm too lazy to do all that myself. =D

  • @Hey55zeus Sure thing, just add me as a friend and i can have them sent to you by december, I am currently living away from the computer that has those images on there and wont have it sent to me untill december.

  • it's a white gyarados

  • I want to believe.

  • i do think its real, theres nothing else that skinny and long

  • @MewtwoGenetic my dick

  • @BrotherGilbert69 skinny? i bet,. long?. u fail

  • ....yes it is.... it's most certainly a wave.... learn english or don't message me back

  • tanks fer da sciunce lessom perfesser !

  • it's a wave.... of coarse it's gonna look like it's moving in a strait line, it hits in the pattern of it's origin and widens, looks weird from above though, huh

  • @pikkonpuar9866 No it not a wave.

  • Throw a grenade, Make a Tsunami, See the Result; 3 steps are not hard

  • It is a surface convergence wave that can be generated by even light breezes converging from favorable angles. They form and amplify along short narrow lines like this.

  • no, it's not The Ogopogo.\

    Its The Yo mama

  • wtf just jump in there

  • fail thats not even lake okanogan

  • Sturgeon are NOT listed on the indigenous fish found in Okanagan lake by the BC fisheries commission.

Considering the amount of good eyewitness reports of an unknown animal in the lake, numerous photos and videos ... and sonar confirmation of large animate objects swimming around ..... it might be time to consider that Ogopogo is real.

  • @pogsquatch

You're absolutly right there are no sturgeon in lake Okanagan My teacher set up a 10' 000 dollar reward for anyone who could fish out a sturgeon from lake okananagan, and not a single one was caught.

  • stergeon spawner

  • is that an underwater pipe?

  • Hi, I'm working on a project about the Ogopogo monster, and was wanting to know if it would be cool for me to use your footage in my video. Do you have any contact information? For now, you can message me via youtube. Thanks!

  • finally a believable video

  • and why you filmed just 30 fuckin seconds? just when it becomes interesting you quit... damn

  • only 1 way to check jump right into the water and look

  • and get eaten

  • if you look closley there is something brown right near it(it could be just the shadow)

  • wow. this dumb ass was filming a stick in the water.. lmao

  • Uhhhh ITS MOVING

  • you dumb tool. Its a bloody log in the water

  • cool im doing a report on ogopogo or naitaka and this is cool

  • Ew look underneath the white thing, it's a huge head. o.o

  • it s the reflection of an airplane in the sky

  • that is weird i wouldnt jump right to a lake monster but that is weird

  • lol pop the son bitch

  • empty the water and see...

  • That's actually a good idea ^^ But then its dead ;<

  • look a little lover of the ripples ( perhaps another ogopogo?)

  • An Invisible Stealth boat

  • WTF THAT IS WEIRD

  • I would use a mini-sub.

  • gd idea but wouldnt u die cause itll attack

  • Is there more to this video ?

    It is fantastic ! Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • i was swimming on that day and that was my dick when i was skinny dipping..yes it is that big.

  • why don't go on filming by such a sighting?

    what about zoom?

  • hey not to be a dick or anything but how high up were you? couldent it be possible it was like a motorboat or something. once again dont mean to be a dick in any way just curious

  • would boats be ABOVE water? not to be a dick

  • Great job on the video.

One of the best Ogopogo sightings yet !

Is that ice I see on the edge of the lake ?

  • Comment removed

  • wow wow wow! great video!

this is actually very geniune looking, do you by any chance have an estimate of how high up you were? it could help give a rough estimate of how bigh the occurence was

  • idk... doesn't look much like the supposed creature looks. Looks a bit strange, but it's possibly just an abnormal wave patern or something. Though i don't doubt the existence of ogopogo exactly, I'm pretty sure that's not it.

  • Could be an oarfish, but idk.

  • It looked like 2 objects there. Who knows?

  • woa woa woa im sorry how t\he fuck would you now if there were two oggopogos fucking and making babys and found a carcus of a baby they would be swimming together unless the womens in the kitchen lol jkk but seriously thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard of

  • i think its just currents in the water or somthing complicated like that. But wouldnt you also see a shadow under whater as well??

  • it looks like a boat

  • wtf is in the water

  • your mom

  • rofl! like that.

  • your dad

  • knock knock

  • your secret lover

  • Dr.Phil!!!

  • i woulda ben scareed! i get scared jsut swimming in okanagan sometimes out boating and cliff jumping i always wonder and get scared it mite come and get me or something.

  • Interesting- there looks like something cream-colored swimming almost perpendicular to the white line....

  • and if u want proof i will get proof but he must nvr be discovered if he does then idk what will happen

  • the ogopogo is not a dinosaur. he was once a man blinded by anger then cast into the okanagan lake 4ver and how would u explain differnt currents in the middle of the lake and some1 that went missin and his boat peices found in wild horse canyon?!

  • stop*

  • uhh why u stp the camera so quick? =\

  • ogopogo is dinosaur: plesiosaur

  • i think so too

  • Sorry To Burst You Sceptic Bubble But Monsterquest Just Found A Baby Ogopogo Carcass And Are Doing DNA Tests On It Right Now, Also They Spotted An Adult With An Infared Camera While Flying Over Lake Okanogan With A Helicopter! DNA Test Will Be Announced Sometime This Month On The History Channel Show "Monsterquest".

  • @tkemert20 turned out to be a Salmon, unfortunately. A freakin' year later...lol

  • that may be a stergen because there are HUGE ones under the kelowna bridge apparently but who knows? i belive in it! ive lived in penticton my whole life and never seen it though

  • um its not ogopogo ogopogo is in lake okanogan

  • that is lake okanagan

  • actuelly its okanagan lake!! lol

  • I know there are snakes that can swim in that lake. I was hanging out a friends dock when a snake slide out from the rocks and kinda 'slithered' on the water out of our view. Maybe the ogopogo is a fat snake :D lol.

  • Thats amazing. Nice footage pal.

  • I do believe that it might be a sturgeon poysm

they are bottom feeders true , but they do very rarely come up to the surface and they are very large and silver like the object in the video. I've heard stories of underwater welders on the original floating bridge asking for cages to work in because of the size of the fish at the bottom could be a myth but it's interesting none the less.

  • it looks like it a reflection of a plane flying over but outher than that i do not know what it is

  • That's what I thought it was at first , but there was nothing in the air , could maybe be something reflecting off the shoreline.

  • yeah but it cant be reflecting because it is moving i dont know what that thing could be then man

  • it doe NOT look like a reflection of any plane.

and what plane flys at 10 MPH?

    OMG-the stupidity!!

  • Are you certain? I've never seen a sturgeon which moves in a straight line, creating almost no wake, and being very linear..?

  • Sorry, but I do not believe it's birds: to me the birds sound too close, like there right behind the camera.

If it was like 3 birds flying in a line than the object should be uniform.

The object in the video keeps changing shape!!! Also, we would not be able to

hear them from so far away.

  • its geese!!!!!!!!!! idit u can hear them!

  • Hi Roycodyyoung:

Great video, you definitely have something!

Certainly not a sturgeon: there bottom feeders. Could be an animal like a whale

undalating in the water. Like Ogopogo has been reported to do. Certainly not a wave: appears to be leaving a wake what ever it is.

Could be an otter? But, an otter wouldn't be that far out on the lake and as it is really deep! I recommend taking your video to Arlene Gaal the Ogopogo expert in Kelowna.

She is in the phone book. I have her E-mail.

  • Ok James you caught me it's a fake I placed that flock of birds on the ice covered lake , just to make a name for myself over the clusterfuck known as youtube. James I think you need to settle down you have a lot of anger issues and your scaring me I'll no longer comment and your right I spent a lot of my time blowing guys behind 24/7.

  • The Ogopogo is a sturgeon and if anything that's what I have on tape here , is a sturgeon breaking the surface. I don't know how many times I can say it but it's not birds. You can hear geese in the background frolicking in the vineyard. But most of the lake is covered in ice and I'm only like 300m away from the object in the lake.

  • I foound it strange that's all , I've lived in the area for 20 years and I have never seen anything like that hence why I took the video.

  • its a bunch of birds now cmon m8 cut the bullshit u know full well what that is

  • It's not a boat or birds people , the Lake had a thin coat of ice on it that morning , this was taken in the middle of Feb , the Video cuts off but the thing whatver it was stayed moving in a straight line for about 2mins then zig zagged for about 5-6 before disappearing. There was nothing in the sky that morning I know this because that's what I thought it was at first a plane or cloud but there was nothing.

  • wow

  • In the free world, nothing needs to be proven.

Wish you all the best, do hope you make it to our 2010 Winter Games.

    All the best.

  • look i just tried to make a valid point thats all i love canada my relatives are from canada so yes all the best

  • Run the lake yourself on a high performance machine and you can see the Ogo Pogo and even run over it. Chase "seagulls" too.

    Sincerely,

    Your Lochness.

  • the indians dont make shit up.and what about the ferry boat with 100 people who saw the ogo from 30 feet.

    u skeptics have brain damage!

in fact a major study was done on skepticism and totally showed how skeptics were very delusional and full of crap and false assumptions.

  • Why not study the birds on my channel? I guess I am that dumb?

  • Hi...

I can guarantee you that the visuals seen here was not a flock of Seagulls and was what the publisher saw " A weird wave". What you hear in the background is a Canada Goose squaking. OK Lake is located in Central BC and Seagulls do not fly in flocks there. Yes... they are present but can guarantee this wave shown in the visual is real and has nothing to do with birds.

    Cheers

  • PS...

Lets not include all of the under ground natural hot springs and volcano action we have here that could possibly be contributing ti this.

    To the comment below....

It's a boat you idiots. <--- sorry to shame you but there were no boats. Maybe research a little more before calling people you do not know idiots.

    Cheers

  • Intriguing. Recently had the opportunity to see this phenomenon up close and personal on Jet Ski. I can assure all that it was just waves. From a distance the waves can look a little freaky, once sitting on top of them it is clearly visible that the waves are waves. The waves can be seen on any given day mostly between Peachland and Penticton.

Would be nice for an expert to study this phenomenon more. I believe it is caused by a deep upstream current running into the higher downstream current.

  • wow! AWESOME!

  • its when 2 boat waves meet i dont know why it does it but they end up going in a straght line

btw there are over 20 ogopogos in that lake they are just giant sea sterchians (spelling probably wrong)

  • It's a boat you idiots.

  • o.O well im intrigued lol thanks

  • lmao. its friggen waves u ppl!

  • omg did you guyz see a fin :O

  • its the reflection of a jet and its contrail from up in the sky.

  • like it's moving like in a straight line though like, it could be like fish though, but like I'm not sure

  • oh that is definitely the best footage of her yet!HAND'S DOWN!That could EASILY be her head!

  • best sighting of the ogopogo yet

  • wow cool! Ogopogo, wow good find! But i have question. Are Nessie and ogopogo the same type of creatures?

  • Scientists debate on that. They dont have a close up examination on either of them, so they cant tell

  • snake? maybe? w8, it's too big for a snake...

  • Ah come on!!! All you had left was 31 seconds of tape and then booof, no more video coverage???

  • i dont understand, i mean if u see it shoot it

  • How many people haul guns on a boat. How many guns are effective underwater, how many people get close enough.

  • I know Ive been wondereing bout that to
