@k5blazer19871111 it noting like a ski doo. a polaris would own a ski doo any day. and i would know. my firend had a ski doo. an ok lookin sled. payed 5000 big ones for it. never started, always breaking parts. i had an 2001 polaris 340 for long time. and i got it in 05. my dad gave it to me. i was jumping that thing beating it to crap. i had it for 6 years. and the only thing that broke was a trailing arm bolt. it happend last year. this year i sold it and got a new sled.
@k5blazer19871111 it is a 2004 polaris 600 vertical escape RMK 144 track 2 inch paddles with reverse and electric start. im telling ya POLARIS WILL ALWAYS BE AT THE TOP!
way to go polarisindus, finally showed the other guys again what a rael mountain sled is suppose to be like, you also have me drooling all over me keyboard. Way to go.
Talking about a time ago, I remeber this same hype with the 05 RMK 900. Look how Polaris took care of thier customers on that. It may be a great sled but I wouldent want to be one of the first test cases !
one word ....awesome.....i ride an arctic cat im not saying im all arctic cat becuase dang polaris is goin crazy on their lineup its insane how long has arctic cat had the same mountain sled yea a long time its time for a change like
I have never seen a better sled. My brothers got the 800 rmk shift n i thought that was nice till it blew up twice. But then again he can blow up jus bout every sled made. He needs to be a test driver for Polaris. Sick sleds guys!
now all they have to do is make a 136 and 144. i have heard the mtns guys would rather run a 144 who needs all that track. i have even heard some guys would rather run a 136 with a big pladdle track.
Quite the contrary, I have never once heard a guy buy a new sled and say "should have gone shorter". The bigger the track the better. You can get by with a 144" but you can't really go anywhere or do anything unless you are a damn good rider. A 151" is the bare minimum for the average Joe. Come ride in the mountains and you can find out first hand how bad short tracks are for that type of terrain.
Love the looks and design of this sled... Hey polaris? Want to trade the new 2011 for my '02? I'll even give you a free helmet if you trade straight across.
I like the looks of what Polaris is doing, yet still wonder why is it they wait until everybody else releases to start their model? I started out on Polaris sleds back in the late 70's, tried Ski-Doo, & settled with Arctic Cat. This sled is very nicely put together but the 800's reputation still stops me. I along with others hope its haunted history has been given the extra attention to make it reliable & powerful enough to put behind this latest release from Polaris. Nice Sled.
That sled is just amazing looking! I would love one, thats the best looking sled polaris has come out with since the wedge!! Lets just hope Polaris really has figured out that 800 cfi motor! Because, well one because I know they're reading this, and two there are a LOT of unhappy customers with that engine, it has been very problematic in the long track sleds. They say they've fixed it, and I really hope so, because these sleds are fantastic and have huge potential!! Way to go Polaris!!!
My girlfriend's dad works at a polaris dealership, and he has exclusive insider information that I'm not able to exactly discuss. All I will say is that the main problem that Polaris has been having with their 800 motor is fixed! Plain and simple.
w00t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited. that 45lb - ish difference will make a huge impact on hill climbs and my boondocking skills. I VANT VUN!!
well im glad thet you've had better luck than I with Polaris. Have a Great season and tear up the pow whatever you ride!!!!

Horsepower doesn't mean anything if you can't manuver the sled the way you want, or, get it to the ground.
