  • I think fighter pilots are super human. They are amazing we all should just bow down now.

  • It is cool how he could speak so calmly while the man on camera was fighting to not black out.

  • It must be so awesome to fly in a jet :O

  • what happened to kojack?

  • @cornelious786 Kevin " Kojack " Davis was flying a demonstration and hit some power lines. He could have punched out but he was a very respectable and courageous pilot just like all aviators. And instead of punching out and saving himself he maneuvered the plane in a different direction seeing as how it happened over a neighborhood and he saved the lives of many others. R.I.P. Kevin

  • I always loved this video and never knew he was the one killed a few years back. RIP.

Died what he loved doing. Just too early.

  • 13:36 lol what are the arguing about over the radio? sounded kinda funny.

  • @ewthmatth , Air Control was telling him to start his to slow, he replied that he has his interval which means, he is perfectly spaced from the plane in front of him( as they've practiced 500 times) and he knows exactly when to slow and start his turn and doesn't need to be told by the guy on the ground

  • you are very lucky man...you flight with blue angels and moreover with Kojack pilot!!!

  • what a great pilot and teacher

  • I have a question. I'm only a kid and I want to know some things. So, what are the things that cover the pilots lower face and that has a tube attached to it?

  • Is it likely that pilots will pass out their first time flying these planes?

  • @FA18HornetUSMC Not really. These pilots go through extensive training in centrifuge machines which replicate the G forces that they will pull in the planes. They need to pass that test before going up in the jet.

  • @TheGator08Man i have a question for you, do they still do centrifuge test.. because i know they hardly do that anymore and they have special made suits that they wear, let me know

  • @ActiveTwistt They still do centrifuge tests. Other wise, how would the pilots know how to hand the G-forces. The suits that regular pilots wear only help to keep the blood in the lower body. You still need to know how to keep the blood from rushing to the head, and that is where the centrifuge training helps.

  • @TheGator08Man Yess buh the pilot suits are strapped tight for lower body and upper body support.. which will mean how they pilot never had to do it on the video.

  • he ooooooooowned tower at 13:37 really not even a comeback haha

  • It must be an ear-destroyer...

  • he fainted and puked XD

  • Can some one reply back please how old do you have to be to take a blue angel ride along and how much does it cost to do it

  • Soneone please reply back how old and how much does it cost to take a ride along with the blue angels right now i am 16 can some one please write back

  • This would be an amazing experience, I just wish I could condition my stomach beforehand. I would hate to be worrying about vomiting the whole time whilst the pilot would be thinking 'Rookie...'.

  • pilots are hotshots, i mean look at tom cruise how he behaved, they are thrill seekers and create danger for themselves and others a lot of times

  • @weversonman Tom cruise isn't a real fighter pilot. He portrayed a character in a fictional movie.

  • What is being said over the radio at 13:37? It seems like some sort of rebuke from ATC...

  • @lordchamberlainII Here's the scenario. You had a C2 COD on downwind. The Hornet was heading upwind, basically right up the runway. Before the 18 can "break" which is 180 degree hard turn to enter the downwind he needs proper interval(spacing) on the COD which was the only aircraft in the pattern at that time. He told tower he had the COD in sight and the tower told him to break. Chances are that if he broke when tower told him to he would of had inadequate spacing from the COD.

  • Beautiful flying. My heart goes out to Mr. Raycraft.

  • is kojack dead ?

  • @e0012078 Yes he is, the info under the vid states that he basically crashed while performing some maneuver at an air show. Sucks to hear that, I look up to all fighter pilots, and its sad for me to hear that they died tragically. R.I.P Kojack!

  • @e0012078 Kojak died in a crash during a show. My daughter was part of the crew then and was part of the recovery team. Great guy, greatly missed. His death really rattled his coworkers.

  • i guess it was the worst day in his life...

  • The last part..." BLAAA PLUUUU KAAAA KAAAAAA" euuuuu !!!! LOL

  • 3:55 "It'll be very comfortable for you...If I do it right." XD how reassuring

  • It's weird watching this video how the reporter passes out due to the g's and Lt. Davis is still going through the motions like it's a piece of cake, and yet unfortunately, the g's caused his fatal crash and he passed out also. RIP Lt. Davis.

  • a little cat nap lololololol

  • WOW!!

  • i was there when #6 went down, it was my first air-show, and i wanted to be a fighter pilot for the u.s. Navy. Yet, the knowledge of what could happen to me didn't change my mind. i still want to serve the united states of america, as a U.S. Navy Fighter Pilot. RIP Kevin Davis, you are the inspiration for my dreams, aspirations, and my future service.

  • Warning...Warning...^^

  • rip kevin

  • how he die

  • @jon76398 he suffered from G lock. He forgot to take g -force precautions while performing a maneuver. He was unable to recover the aircraft.

  • question. What does the pilot mean when he says is Kilo available for taxi?

  • @usnpilot231 taxiing is basically driving over to the runway to take off. say your parked by the building, you would drive or "taxi" over to the runway.

  • hello mr ticks!

  • wost passenger ever... Puked, passed out twice, jesus, did he forget how to do the hick maneuver?

  • Kojack is now a white angel!

  • 1:35 WOOOOTT!!!!!!

  • RIP Kojack, Ive never met you but from videos ive seen about you, You seemed like a nice and fun guy. No one will forget about you.

  • You wonder how Kojack could fly this thing so calmly while it was so difficult to be a passenger. Beautiful photography. Sorry to hear that Kevin is no longer with us. Condolences to his family.

  • @bluewaves3 You get used to it

  • R.I.P Kojack

  • I love how he more or less tells the controller to bite his ass after the break.

  • I just love the part, where he passed out. lol He just couldn't handle the G

  • He blacks out like 5 times during the flight, it's hilarious!

  • rip kojack, u was a awsome pilot, may u rest in peace

  • How do you get to ride in a demonstration flight?

  • @hsiegel2 get famous!

  • I find it so awesome that once you become the pilot of a Blue Angel, for those 2 years everyday you just fly up and "mess around." So awesome

  • i doesn't look like he enjoyed it. yeh, the beginning and after that......? let me know.

  • RIP kevin davis... :'(

  • Rest in Peace Kojack :'(

  • wow what i would do to have 1 chance to do this

  • Id pay so much to do that!!!!!

  • i love these videos i wish i could have that opportunity

  • I now realize that, the more i watch this kind of thing, that we see these "newcombers" who are simply not acquainted and "used to" being put through these kinds of manuevers every day, as the Pilots of these Aircraft, ARE. we watch this poor guy, licking his lips because they are dried from nerves, and you know his mouth is dry from all the "Hucking" and his heart is pounding and you are essentially Uptight and somewhat horrified. no wonder the unsuspecting participant struggles with this.

  • Lol!! 2:08 this guy didn't expect that! like a child on a very scary Carnival Ride . Zipper or Space Shot. ha-ha. i feel his pain. not too many folks could really handle this kind of extreme motion and speed, without training. but still hilarious.

  • 13:37 Kojack told the control tower who's boss :P

  • he should have fired a missile on the tower

  • I don't quite understand the first 3 or 4 words in his sentence to the tower (I'm not a native english speaker). Did you get those?

  • RIP Kojack

  • lol he told the tower who was boss at the end.

  • Man... reading what happened to the guy puts a damper on watching this clip. Sounds like a swell guy.

  • yeah he sure does...very sad :( It's something they love doing, still doesn't make it any easier to listen to. Actually makes it harder

  • 2:05 reaaady hit it XD

  • lool he starts hooking before they take off.

  • haha lol, fail, black out twice was it? and puked lol,

  • RIP kojack. you wont forget this experience with kojack man. you are very lucky

  • WHAT PLANE NUMBER DOES HE FLY?

  • He was flying the #7 Jet in this movie. in 2007 he has been promoted to #6 Opposing solo for the blues, 21st april 07 (my birthday) he had an accident in beafort and got killed.

  • he is dead dude...

  • number 6.

  • R.I.P. Kojack

  • what happened to kojak?

  • killed during an airshow.. if you youtube his name they did a bunch of newscasts on it.. guess he blacked out near the end of a show and didnt recover.. rest in piece number 6

  • whats with the sneezing noises

  • They do that while hey are flexing as much of their lower muscles as possible; legs, buttocks and abdomen, because otherwise all of the blood would rush to the legs and leave their brain and that would yield unconsciousness and possibly death by crash. So basically what you are hearing is them breathing while flexing every muscle possible...

  • ohh thanks

  • This is a cooool channel

  • Wow this is funny and sad at the same time!!

  • Kojack was one hell of a Pilot!!!

  • Why do they always take up the guys that puke?

  • Comment removed

  • my a320 would call "Terrain, Terrain... Pull up" at 10:35

  • 10:35 lol he didnt even know how close he was to that mountain top. dale owned it though

  • RIP Kojack

  • Right?! That's what I said when he started doing that anti-g maneuver.

  • flight controller gets pwned

    RIP "kojack"

  • yup he definitely owned him @ 13:37.

    and R.I.P. Kojack.

  • nice puke.

  • Great vid, RIP Kevin Davis

  • The "fag" hasn't had the luxury of extensive flight training and conditioning, starting with single engine aircraft.

  • whats the vaper called at 2:10 on the wings and fuselage ? and nice video

  • Its water vapor

  • Man the pilot didn't miss a beat with the naration even while pulling six Gs. That's fucking awesome.

  • the idea is to get a G-Lock right? :)

  • I don't see why you would. If your in a G-Lock you loose consciousness for at least 10-12 seconds. But what do I know. :)

  • Does anyone know the vision requirements to be a blue angel?

  • probablly perfect or better

  • @TLKResource 20/20 in both eyes uncorrected.

  • did you get the mic out of the way? lol

  • 12:09 lol

  • 2.12 is fucking bad ass!

  • amazing !!!!GO PILOTS !!! I love the way they talk, smooth and easy like a guy in the museum :) AMAZING !!!!!! TOTAL RESPECT !!!!!

  • is it hard to breath at that speed or something? why was he making those choking noises?

  • Its because when you do a 6 G turn you have to take a big breath and hold it really tightly to keep blood in your head or ealse you'll pass out (like he did somewhere in the middle). The choking is him trying to breath while keeping his chest and stomach really tight through the turn. You have to remember that he is literally being crushed during these turns so its not easy to breath.

  • When pulling high G in a turn the blood is basically dragged from your head to your butt. U must force the blood to stay in your head and that breathing technique is what keeps it there :). I went up in a mig and had to do it and man it sucks. I threw up just like this guy did hehe

  • what kind of a MIG.

  • What do you mean?

  • sry i thought i saw someone who commented saying they flew in a MiG and i wanted to know what kind

  • I was probably being an idiot flipping through five hundred videos and commented on the wrong video sry again.

  • RIP number 6...

  • what happened to number 6 ?

  • dang man at 8:07 you was a little tardy with that hick lol!

  • to me it looked like he wasnt excited about that opportunity whatsoever....all he said was yes and yep....and had his eyes closed and not appearing to even pay attention to the pilot just really got under my skin

  • i agree. I work on F/A-18s and getting a 'joy' ride with the Blue Angels is almost impossible for us...i wanna punch that guy in the face..lol

  • Did anyone see kojak break a sweat? lol journalist pussay

  • Comment removed

  • yea thats why i said "did anyone see kojak break a sweat?" then i said journalist pussay toward the journalist..... duh....

  • Blurrrrgggpppppphhhhhh.....

He just blew chunks into the boom mike. Nice mouth chunder dude!

  • He just told that ATC what was up @ 13:38!!

  • haha yea i laughed out loud when he snapped at him

  • What a BABY!

  • 8:16 he must have never got high b4 ,, haha

    i'd a been like weeeeeeeeeee"

  • what a puss...i would give anyhing to be there and would NOT close my eyes for a second!!!! and would take the plane to do the maneuvers...do some work out before you go up there youuuuu.. what a puuuusssyy!!throwing up! ha ha ha ha. . . .

  • 8:55 . He looks like a smurf...haha.

  • can anyone fly with these guys? can you pay to ride with them? or do you have to be invited?

  • 8:29

  • Kojak, I am thinking about you this 4th of July weekend. This video has served as a nice tribute to you and to the Blues. As always, thank you for the ride of my life. We miss you...

  • At 9:54 "you dont have to work at all on this the bloods already goin to your head"

haha......great stuff......The world lost a good pilot. RIP, Sir-

  • What I would give to do something like this....

  • Wow. That's just crazy. I can't even imagine!

  • "where you able to get the boom microphone out of the way?" haha

  • lol 12:26

  • R.I.P. Kevin

  • What happened to the pilot? How did he die?

  • The year after this video was shot he moved into the opposing solo (#^) position with the team. During his first demonstration he apparently suffered GLOC (gravity-induced loss of consciousness) during a tight turn towards the end of the show. His plane crashed into a residential area.

  • Were there any casualties?

  • Eight people on the ground were injured but the only fatality was the pilot. There's videos of the crash on Youtube.

  • jesus when he says "what about 300 pat, yo uready?" the plane shoots up like a rocket so incredibly fast :O :P .

    r.i.p kevin.

  • Sunnyboy-they are talking about the pilot Lt. Cdr. Kevin Davis...he died in a crash during a show in SC.

  • wtf u mean RIP he still lives

  • the pilot died in 2007 during an air show

  • That is one confident pilot right there @ 13:38 , lol

    Pilot= 1

    Controller= 0

  • RIP Kojak. Awesome piloting skills.

  • I like the way he told the controller off!!! The best pilots on the planet!! R.I.P #6

  • hah at 3:43

    hes says the f word

  • It's definitely one of the best videos I have ever seen. It's a vicarious experience, true. But the awesome instructions of the pilot make you feel like you're in the cabin yourself.

  • "we need some foghat" nice. Hahahaha. nice video!

  • That was the best think ive ever seen.I would have barfed ,puked, shit myself, pissed my pants and passed out 10 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jesus christ !!!! Is that pilot a robot, he doesn't sound to be bothered at all.

  • The worse thing is the Blue angel pilots can't wear G suits. Because if it Inflates and moves the stick while they fly 17 inches apart. Boom disaster. So these pilots are the best in the world.

  • not at combat

  • The blue angels Don't fly combat.

  • hehe, must be !, they sure wouldn't let someone like myself fly with those F-18's

  • Hey, dont know much about flight at high speeds, if you break the sound barrier, is it silent in the cockpit?

  • Me either, but I would think because passing the sound barrier and creating a sonic boom, since you are traveling faster than sound, the boom wouldn't be able to catch up with you.

  • yes it is silent

  • At first you will hear a loud Boom, Then you can't hear anything.

  • you can talk to any pilot and they'll tell you almost everybody (including them) throws up their first time up

if you were to ever get an opprotunity to go up with the Angels they tell you to eat a light breakfast before you go and then if you think you're going to throw up they level out their plane and wait until you're done

  • looooooooooooooooooooool

  • wait, did he just throw up!?? woahhh is it that bad?

  • Lol, so funny watching this...

Pilot: "were you able to get the boom microphone out of the way?"

    Guest: "Yes i was"

    Pilot: "Oh that's great"

    "

  • 10:30 lol

  • rest in peace Lt.Cdr. Davis

  • patrick raycraft didn't look too happy to be there. rip kevin davis

  • Best vid on youtube!!!

    10:36 Mind your head!

  • great video
