It was great fun though overall, the picture page linked from the blog shows just how stunning some of the scerery was. It just wouldnt have been the same if we werent driving through all these places. We are planning a second trip at the moment.

bet you were glad your in a solidly built car !! Was there much damage ?

very glad indeed, still there were lots of small 'dings' in the roof and a couple on the bootlid.

hehe, no probs. It totally caught us by surprise. When we arrived at the campsite it look like a bomb had hit it, everyone was in shock.

It was on the same day there was a massive fire due to the heat. Several firefighters were killed iirc, somewhere near zadar, an island I think.

It was actually worse than you can make out in the vid but the noise comes across pretty well !

Car Has lots of dents all over it which is a bit of a pain but at least the windows stayed in tact.
