We were turned down by the " The Dracula Society" in L.A. back in 1994. We thought that they would welcome us and the channeled historical Vlad. they said Vlad was not a moral or type of person that their society would want since their club was for family orientated people with children etc. That pissed me off since their (Dracula the vampire and Gothic blood drinkers and such was okay to be members,) but the original historical Vlad Dracula was not acceptable in their club

You submitted the Dancing Dracula in 1973? Don't feel bad. I introduced it in 1971, and believe me, I did not receive a warm welcome. They practically lynched me. If you search youtube for "dancing Dracula" there is even a dancing dracula doll. That is our idea!
I celebrate "Dracula Day" instead of "Valentine's Day" every year, as a matter of fact. Just did a totally inadequate video about it, in fact.
